I am trying to get used to this vacuum. My old Hoover vacuum was 20 years old. I like the suction on this vacuum and the fact that you don't need to buy bags for it. I wish that the attachments hose did not have to be detached and moved to another hookup in order to be used. It makes it awkward to go back and forth between vacuuming the floors and using the attachments.

I was torn between this steerable model and the slightly cheaper model without the steering. This model was worth the extra cost! It's got great suction and I can vacuum around furniture like my coffee table or kitchen table, without having to move everything. My only big complaint is the way the hose works. My previous vacuum let you pull the hose out and it was ready to go. This vacuum, the handle pulls out for the hose and you have to connect the other end of the hose to a different spot for it to receive suction. It's a bit annoying to have to turn the vacuum off and reconnect the hose which is why I only rated this vacuum as 4 starts. Still, it works well on both my hard floors and the carpet. I wish it came with an upholstery tool, but I can purchase that separately. The steering makes it worthwhile despite it's setbacks.

Vacuum has very strong suction. Easy to clean. Gets in tight spots and under furniture most other big vacuums can't. Love the detachable wand. Just a small step below my Shark Professional, but for the price you can't beat it!

Light weight, great mobility. Easy to maintain and is surprisingly quiet.

Used to have a Dyson that I think was over rated, it was too expensive to buy and too expensive to repair. Enjoying the Hoover which is priced reasonably, works well, light, steers well. I recommend it! Just use it gently it's not designed to hit baseboards very hard like old vacuums!

Love this vacuum so far and it has tons of power (almost too much when going over rugs, they get sucked up but it shuts itself down). Light and easy to maneuver around furniture. Cord is very long and I can reach most areas without having to finding another outlet. Would probably go cordless next time though.

Very easy to use and lightweight. It doesn't sound as noisy as our older vacuum from 4 years ago. The rotating head is also a very useful feature. I just wish I didn't have to assemble the nozzle with an extra step compared to other vacuums, everytime I have to use thin nozzle.

This vac is awesome. Not only is it bagless but is incredibly easy to empty after each use!. It also has a less clunky design at the front that lets you get a little closer and even under some furniture a little more. I like the on/off feature of the brush at the base, so if you are vacuuming a wood floor you don't have to worry about scratching the surface. It does have a powerful suction, so on small area rugs it will tend to get stuck. There is one down side. The attached stair and furniture cleaning wand has a brush but no additional extender tubes. So even though its got a long hose, it's still tends to drag the vacuum and tip it over as you try to extend to high or out-of-reach areas. I have not researched to see if there is an extension available. But that would make this vac a perfect purchase.

so far so good but keep an eye on what your picking up. Items like very small twigs (2 inch) from Christmas tree or Bobby pins can get stuck in the smaller suction channel (three suction channels)on the right side of the brush area which is intended for edge pick up of very small debris which actually works very well as long as your carefull of what it may pick up. Clogs are not easy to get out of that small narrow chamber. They also did away with the automatic cord retraction which I loved (winding up the cord is a pain especially with the units light weight it likes to tip over while your manually winding the cord back up. Other than those minor faults a very nice vacuume.

This Vacuum went together in just a few minutes. The instruction manual is very good for assembling, using and maintaining. This vacuum has very good suction and is very maneuverable. The power cord and hose are very long for reaching high places.

This is an excellent vacuum. It is maneuverable and light weight which makes it incredibly easy to use, and the power is great. I have no problem quickly cleaning up messes, and I have a toddler so I have to clean up everything from sand to crumbs and this vacuums handles it all with ease. It is very easy to use the extension to get corners and edges. It also empties easily. I like it even better than my mother's very expensive Dyson. I am thrilled with this purchase and recommend it highly!

This is an excellent vacuum that is well worth the money! It's so light and easy to steer, it feels like its self propelled on short carpet. The suction is good too as long as you empty the canister frequently. The cord is extra long so I don't have to unplug all the time! The only downside is that there is no way to vacuum my shag rug with it, it automatically adjusts height so there is no setting for very thick rugs. Otherwise, this isan excellent purchase!

Vacuum works great. Cannot believe everything it picked up the first couple of times we used it. We are switching over from our Bosch sweeper due to lack of finding bags. We like that there are no bags now. Great vacuum for the price. We paid approx. $142.00.

My family is pleased so far with our new Hoover vacuum. We have enjoyed the ease with which it works. It is also much lighter than our previous Hoover. It does not come with all the bells and whistles, but so far, it has gotten the job done.

I read the reviews before buying the product. They were the reason I bought it. Now that I own it, I can see why it's a great product. The suction on this is amazing, and it's extremely quiet.

Easy to use, light weight, long cord, never loses suction. I bought this to pick up my dog's hair, it does a great job. No bags, reusable filter.

I previously had a Dyson for 6 years and I loved it but it was so expensive! This vacuum works just as good and I think its even lighter, making vacuuming even easier!

Great value for the money spent does an above average job. Front brush needs to cleaned on s regular basis or it becomes clogged. I have a shedding long haired dog. Works well on carpet, tile and wood floors.

We have area rugs and hardwood floors and mainly got it for the cats plus our pull along is pending a blown motor. The suction is really strong and you will need a little muscle but you get used to it. But it really sucks up the dirt and hair. Only down fall it does not have a carpet height setting so some area rug types require using the floor setting but can't really use it on bathroom rugs. Tip if you have old floor attachments you can use it with the wand detachment.
