Works well even in small areas

Hoover Floormate Steamer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Steamer is so much easier and better than a swiffer. You save money as you just use tap water. I use both the pad and the brush for ceramic tile floors. I'm actually buying a second one for my airbnb's to clean with. Thank you Hoover!

Don't hate it, don't love it.

The water container as well as the detergent container are very small, I had the steamer on a medium setting and only pressed button to steam on the first swipe of my floor scrubbing and the detergent side only lasted for one room. The machine pops a little too easily out of its base and I knocked the base off a couple of times on my first cleaning. It also did not leave a nice fresh smell as I have when I clean with a mop and pine sol. But for quick easy washing it does the trick. I guess I was expecting a steam mop that used a more concentrated steam, this one functions more on pulses of steam. The tools that come with it are very small and it would take a lot of cleaning time to actually clean the grout on a full floor... Found this product to be just average and nothing to write home about. A little pricey for what you get.
