Most Powerful Cordless Handheld I Have Ever Used!

---HIGHLIGHTS---
Powerful Cordless Handheld, Lightweight and Portable, Removable Rechargeable Battery, Strong Suction, Compatible With Other ONEPWR Products
---DESIGN---
This hand vacuum is part of the new Hoover cordless ONEPWR product line. It is powered by a removable rechargeable battery that is charged with an external charging stand. All ONEPWR products can be powered by any ONEPWR battery.
The crevice tools stores securely under the vacuum and I really appreciate that it does not easily slip off like other tools tend too.
The battery and charging stand have lights to indicate the battery charge level and the charging status.
The battery lasts for about 15 minutes and takes about 3 hours to fully charge. Since the battery is Lithium-Ion it will not discharge rapidly while being stored.
The filter is rinseable and reusable.
---USE AND PERFORMANCE---
This handheld vacuum is extremely powerful for its size. I was impressed by the strong suction and how much dust and dirt it captures.
The dust cup is easily removed with the push of a button. Turn it upside down over a trash can and the dirt easily falls in.
It is perfect for small jobs around the house, and for cleaning up places like the car where a plug is not readily available.
---BOTTOM LINE---
I have used a few cordless handheld vacuums over the years and can say without reservation that this is the most powerful one that I have ever used! It has powerful suction, is very portable and lightweight, and can easily reach places that other vacuums can’t.

This vacuum comes in a package with a 2Ah Lithium Ion battery and charger, so you will never have to worry about batteries. I charged it up once and have used it for dozens of household tasks over several days and it is still going strong. The specs say it requires 210 minutes for a full charge, but it already had a charge when I pulled it out of the box, and it has never taken very long to charge the battery fully.
With the huge battery, you can't call it the lightest handheld, but it is balanced nicely in your hand as you use it. It comes with a snap-in crevasse tool to get between cushions and the like.
One disadvantage is that if you are trying to clean under furniture without much clearance underneath, this vacuum will not be able to reach very far. There is not enough vertical clearance (it's 6 1/2 inches high) and the crevasse tool won't help with that kind of chore. This is a slight criticism of an otherwise first-rate product.
The vacuum is very powerful. I was amazed at the job it did on carpeted stairs. We use an upright and have never been able to satisfactorily clean the carpet-covered treads. This little workhouse handled that task easily. I was able to go back for multiple spot cleanings of our throw rugs, always with remarkable success. We will be using it every day.
This Hoover is a keeper, and we will never have to worry about cords or batteries. It also has a removable, washable filter, which was very easy to remove. It has a three- year warranty.

I'm (40) and grew up while we had an old Hoover which was still working when I left home at 20 years old. When I saw there was a new generation hand Hoover I decided to try the cordless hand Vacuum.
The design is nice and its well built so am going to address the cons and pros below:
Pros
- you know it will last because of the name.
- its sturdy
- it has a powerful motor
- the dirt cup is easy to clean, and rince if you needed to.
- the battery is a 2 amp Lithium Ion battery, so it will keep its juice for long and will work for a long time before it starts to die.
- the battery has a button with lights that shows the battery level when pressed once.
Cons
- this thing is heavy
- its pricy compared to something very similar in power like the Black & Decker hand held vaccum
- Although its not a deal breaker for me, it doesn't have a Hepa filter.
- I dont like the fact that i have to ditach the battery to charge it.
- its a noisy as its powerful, more work on sound proofing could've been a huge advantage.
- with a hefty price for a hand held, you expect it would be made somewhere else but its made in China.
all in all, this is a sturdy hand held vacuum that will last long or until the battery dies, and I would recommend it if you have the extra money to spare on a it.

Great, but loud, hand vac

I’ve had a different dust cleaner in my “other company” cart for quite a while, watching prices. Then, I was offered this to review and was pretty excited.
Formerly, I had a Black & Decker dust buster with an extendable inlet, for cracks/crevices. It was recharged by a cable into the unit itself and lasted a while before the charge was just miserable and died very quickly. I never did know how much juice was left, so when a new hand vac came my way, it was perfect timing.
I have to be honest, I’ve never seen a cordless hand vacuum with a removable battery in the ones I’ve researched. So, when I needed to make room for both the vac and battery charger, I was skeptical. Now, I don’t mind.
The battery is hefty but not overbearing and has a ‘charge status’ button. Think of it like a cordless drill battery - so there isn’t any guessing at how much charge there is. The side release buttons are easy to use and slide into the charger & vac just as easy. The battery also offers a flat “bottom” to the vac when stood on-end, taking up less floor space.
The vac is loud. I mean, loud. I’ve had hand-vacs before, but none this loud. There is an attachment for cracks/crevices that sits on the underside and has to be removed/replaced. I can see this being a problem in the long term for getting lost, but for now - it’s still hanging on.
The attachment does well in slider door jams and along baseboards; attachment-less does well in all other areas of the floor for crumbs, dust, etc.
Cleaning it is pretty easy. A single button press drops the front off where you can remove the filter and dump the collection area. The filter is not super snug, so be cautious as the first time I went to clean it, the filter fell into the trash. Hair/dust/dirt all collects nicely around the filter and there is minimal fall-out of the front if you shake it upside down due to a flap closing it off.
Without timing its use, I’d say a good 15 minutes ran the battery to half discharge.
I hope Hoover keeps a battery line standard, as I’ve fallen victim to the batteries changing and no longer working in legacy tools. If they do, a battery swap will keep this hand vac in the house for a long time.
All in all, this is a great hand-vac and I think that a removable battery is the way to go!

the handheld vacuum i’ve had for many years finally died and i wasn’t prepared for how much it would cost to replace it! luckily this one was on sale AND i had $20 in rewards, making this a very affordable option. it was also the highest rated among those available in-store, which pretty much sealed the deal, but i’m very happy with the purchase. it comes with a rechargeable battery (for some hoover products, the battery is sold separately and can cost as much as the vacuum) that charged quickly (altho i can’t speak to how long it holds the charge — i’ve only had it a couple days/used it a couple times and it hasn’t needed recharging yet), has great suction, and is easy to clean. the crevice attachment fits very tightly, to the point that i thought maybe i was doing it wrong/i almost had to force it into place; hopefully this will be less of an issue over time. it is a bit louder than my old handheld, but it’s also much more powerful so i guess that’s to be expected. i have a small space with hardwood floors and no pets, so i need a vacuum mostly to clean up (dry) spills and chase dust bunnies — this more than does the trick!

Amazing suction for a handheld. A little bulky and loud, but these are small sacrifices to be made when considering the suction power of this little Hoover. I haven’t had an issue with battery life as this has remained charged throughout all of my quick cleanup experiences. I wish there were more attachments, but the crevice attachment is fine enough for getting into small areas. I highly recommend, as this handheld will get the job done.

I was searching for a reasonable battery AND suction cordless vacuum. This one met both requirements. This seems to be a good overall hand vac. If you want superb suction power, you probably need a regular, cord vacuum. But, if you want a portable one for the car, or small area clean up, this did the trick. Very satisfied with the combination of battery life and suction power. The battery does need to be removed to charge, but this may the reason the unit works more than 10 minutes at a time. If I could do 4.5 stars, that would be my rating.

Immediately Verify the battery is good bc frequently it is not so you will need to exchange.
The vacuum is great! Powerful and has a crevice tool. Easy to grab and go around the house between full house cleanings. No more time wasted with brooms, dustpans or dragging out the full sized vacuum for a quick spiff up.

I bought this to keep by my back door and vacuum up after my dogs who always seem to bring in little rocks from their paws. I'm absolutely satisfied with this use and other things I've used it for. I already owned another ONEPWR item and so it's great to have the 2nd battery that can be used interchangeably between the two items. Plus I feel it's more powerful than other cordless hand vacs due to the battery capacity.

Still going strong on original battery. We empty the dust bin every week. When it loses suction, remove the little pleated paper filter, get a wooden toothpick, and gently scrape out the dust that is packed between the paper pleats. This is a somewhat messy job; do it over a trash can.

This is a very powerful hand vacuum. I’ve had Dirt Devils and DustBusters previously but I started buying Hoovers. The battery charging is less convenient but the charge is good for a long time. So, there’s no need to constantly have the battery in the charger. I keep it on the vacuum and it charges quickly when I need to charge it. I am very happy with this vacuum.

First, here are the three things I don't like about it. It's loud, just under 85 dB which I believe is about where hearing protection is recommended. Second, there is no LED light on the front end to help you see when poking around your car's floor mats. And third, the pre-filter is only a screen so any fine dust goes straight into the paper filter. It would have been nice to have a pre-filter that captured more of the dust.
Now, these are the points I do like about this hand vac, and I think they outweigh the cons. While loud, it does have very powerful suction for a hand vac. I'd rather it do the job well and I have to pop in some ear plugs. The 2 Amp hour battery that comes with it gives plenty long run time between charges. I also like that you can push the button on the battery to view the charge status. While a little on the heavy side, the vac is well-balanced and easy to use. Even my wife commented that it was comfortable to use and it was easy to slide the on/off switch.
The flat bottom design also makes it easy to set down and know it's going to stay there and not wobble around if you need both hands to move something while cleaning. I also like the crevice tool storage on the bottom. It keeps it secure when not using, but makes it very handy to attach when you need it.
So, if you can live without a built-in light and it being slightly on the loud side, this is a solid, powerful hand vac. I think it was a good choice, and I expect we'll be using it in the cars and around the house for quite some time.

I have been using Hoover vaccums for a long time. HOOVER - ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vacuum is very compact with big dirt cup, comfortable to handle, good suction power with removable and rechargeable battery along with creative tool to reach shallow and deep areas.
I have used multiple times to vaccum my cars. The suction is very good and it picked up everything inside the car. Battery life is really good and able to use more than 15 minutes. It is very easy to emptying the dirt cup. With one button press, it will pop off from the canister. The design and look of this vaccum is really good. It is portable and comfortable to hold. It does not have HEPA filter and bit heavy as well.
It comes with Bagless technology which will save time and energy with no bags to buy or replace. With 20V lithium-ion battery, it provides up to 13.2 minutes of run time per full charge. I like the Cordless technology which delivers cord-free convenience powered by the removable and rechargeable ONEPWR battery. The Lightweight design helps you transport the vacuum from room to room and floor to floor.
It is really good hand vaccum and highly recommend to everyone.

This cordless VAC is sturdy yet lightweight. The extension piece to enable you to get into narrow places is a big plus, and stores away easily on the bottom of the unit. I use it frequently and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality cordless VAC.
