I've always wanted one of these blowers to use on our driveway and around the yard. Our land is full of pine trees and so we have pine needles almost year round. I charged this up after opening it and the proceeded to start using it around the yard. Was amazed at the power (ie, wind speed) it generates. I believe the literature quotes 95 mph and I believe it. We have several in ground landscape lights that constantly get covered either by overgrowth or ant beds. This blower makes mince meat out of both. Highly recommend this, especially since no gas is required.

My husband and I LOVE this blower. He was able to blow our front and back yard which is about a 1/2 acre lot and still had battery life left. The convenience of no cords and not having to deal with gas is great! I used it to blow off the deck and it was so light and easy to use. For being battery operated, it far surpassed my expectations of power. I’d give this blower a three thumbs up if it was possible.

I'm not a newcomer to handheld blowers. I've had one since they first came on the market. I've had plug-ins, 12volt, 18volt, and most recently a Craftsman 40volt. This Hoover blows them all away (no pun intended!) Comes near complete in the box - you need only snap on the extension tube & charge the battery, which took less than a half hour. The noise level is acceptable for a product of this type, actually more pleasing than those I've used before. Mind you, this is not a replacement for a backpack style blower, at full power the battery will last about 20 minutes or so, and there was no noticeable power loss as the battery drained down. There are LED's on the battery itself to indicate state of charge. My first use for this was clear about a half inch of dry snow that had fallen on my driveway overnight, and it worked great. The variable speed control has a very light touch; much better than having a click type knob, or no speed control at all. It's one finger control from a whisper to full blast. It's also pretty stylish for what it is, while not necessarily a requirement for a garden tool, I've already had 2 neighbors come up and ask me about it. I would certainly recommend anyone in the market for a handheld blower take a look at the Hoover.

Super easy to set up and assemble. Battery charges on the supplied charging base very fast. Gives you the flexibility to use one power source across a variety of the Hoover OnePwr line of devices. For a battery powered blower, it's great. Not something that really compares to traditional gas powered blowers, so depending on your use case, it might not be for you. But for quick, around the house needs that require a blower, this is amazing. Super lightweight and comfortable to hold, the blower produces a great amount of airflow. It easily blew wet stuck leaves around my yard as needed. I love that the trigger has variable speed, so you can dial down the power when needed, or go full blast. The airflow is nice is concentrated and focused so you're getting the power exactly where you point. It is loud though. Very loud. I know gas blowers are loud too, but this might be equally as loud, just in a different pitch. So keep that in mind, you might still want ear protection if you're using for long periods of time. Overall the blower is great and definitely gets the job done for most uses.

My initial test for this was just to clear off my concrete pad under my back deck. The setup is easy, and the battery/charger are interchangeable with other Hoover devices. Obviously hoover I would stick with suction/blowing tools. My other product is the shopvac. After a full charge I went to clear my pad (about 10x25' of damp leaves). The power was fine compared to my gas blower (not much difference), but it used 1/2 the charge in about 5-10 minutes of use. The things I like, interchangeable battery/charger w/ my shopvac so I have 2 batteries now. However one is a 2.0 and one a 4.0 (not sure the difference) The batteries have a charge indicator you can push to check the charge. I would recommend this but realize that it may only have enough juice to completely clear a yard of leaves under 30x30 or so. So the multiple batteries is probably a must.

Unboxing was simple. Take unit out of box add attachment and battery and ready to go. Units weight is nice not heavy at all. The blower has a nice amount of power for grass, leaves and even dusty snow. I have used for total of 2 hours and have not had to recharge yet.

Maneuverable Leaf Blower, Good for Quick Jobs

The Hoover ONEPWR cordless leaf blower is relatively light, easily maneuverable, and a good choice for quick jobs like cleaning leaves off your deck, patio, or walkways. Power wise, this Hoover does a fairly good job of blowing piles of dry leaves away that were nestled in hard to reach spots on my deck and patio. It's wonderful being able to blow leaves and debris out vs having to move things around and clearing the area with a broom. Unfortunately, it struggled a bit with the weight of piles of damp leaves, so you'll have to get real close to move the wet ones. Gas blowers do a better job by offering more power, however being electric with a lithium battery enabled the Hoover to be light and well balanced so I was able to aim and maneuver the blower to attack the leaves from angles I traditionally wouldn't have been able to. Weight is the main attribute where the ONEPWR blower shines. It has a sturdy handle with variable speed trigger that's ergonomic and easy to use. The lithium ion battery slides into the back of the blower and it all balances out fairly well holding it with one arm. Not having to deal with arm strain or a stiff back from continually holding up a heavy blower is a Godsend. Another key advantage over gas is that it's also incredibly easy to start - just slide the battery in, pull the trigger, and you're ready to rock and roll. Which also makes it great for quick jobs, because you can reliably get the blower going and clear out the patio at the last minute before guests arrive. The Hoover ONEPWR is designed to be a system of small tools and appliances that all use the same battery. If you have multiple devices within this system and multiple batteries to go with them, you'll likely find them all very useful. However, each battery is about $60 as of this writing, and while this leaf blower does a solid job it only gave me enough juice for about 25 minutes on a full charge. Which doesn't sound like much, but was more than enough time needed to clear off all the leaves that have been collecting in the crevices of my deck and patio. If you wanted to do a sizable yard, I would definitely recommend having multiple batteries on hand or even going gas. However, the ONEPWR blower is an excellent choice to quickly clean up the outside area around the house. I especially like how the weight and balance enables me to aim the blower in a multitude of directions, which is a lot more useful in practice than you'd think. If you're looking for a light, convenient, and maneuverable wind cannon to do QUICK jobs around the house, the Hoover ONEPWR is a solid choice.

    Perfect for small yards

This blower worked right out of the box though it did need a charge to bring it to full strength. This device is lightweight and perfect for blowing leaves off of a patio or sidewalk or to touch up a yard to blow leaves out of the corner or edge of a fence into the path of a mulching mower. My 78 year old mother was able to hold this comfortably and to use it to clear part of my patio and now she wants one for her house! To her this was easier than using a broom. And she liked the fact that it did not have a cord to worry about. If you want something to do larger tasks, I'd suggest buying something more robust that might also use a battery pack that works with a battery operated lawnmower. But for simple and irritating cleanup tasks, this is spot on perfect.

I wish it was autumn so I could truly give this a whirl on the leaves that I get around here. I did give it a quick whirl outside though and it was nice and light, easy to hold and point. It was ergonomic and simple to use. Controls are simple the fact that is battery operated makes it easy to get to the harder to reach places on my property without worrying about tangled cords. What I can't say is how long the battery will last, but the lightweight nature, even with the battery makes this ideal for my small hilly house to keep things clear. I really like this and look forward to having leaves fall for once to really run this through its paces.

Simple and easy to use. I like using leaf blowers to clean outside and in the garage. The Hoover onepwr makes it really easy and convenient. Easy to move around tight space and weird angles. Overall the unit is balanced at the handle. Battery life is about 30 to 40 minutes of use. Its good enough to clean a sizeable yard. The trigger is pressure sensitive. The lighter you squeeze the less air come out. Nice touch. I am considering purchasing another Hoover Onepwer item because of the portable factor of the battery.

Cordless, but could use more power

The Hoover Cordless Leaf Blower has a wind speed roughly equivalent to our wired model that we already had, but much more convenient without wires for carrying and reaching certain areas of the yard. While it blew most dry leaves strongly, it did not seem to, for example, do as good of a job at blowing the acorns out of the grass (compared with the wired blower). It feels like this will be great to have for daily use, but not a total replacement for a wired leaf blower. Out of the box it was a simple one-click assembly. The battery does not come with a usable charge in the box, there are 4 lights indicating charge level and a button to show the current level. A full charge takes around 2 to 3 hours. After fifteen or twenty minutes of use, the battery indicator was down to one notch, but fortunately we had finished the job in the back yard we were doing, and put it back on charger until we were again ready to use it in the front yard (which again, it handled fine). I perhaps had unrealistic expectations on battery life (I was hoping for closer to an hour of use per charge). I do know this makes a good case for buying an extra or stronger battery.

I was able to blow the leaves off my drive and my back porch with a single charge. It literally blew me away. I had a different blower and it didn't hold a candle to this one. I like the weight and the durability since its light yet heavy duty construction. Definitely recommend this product beyond belief.

Well I live in Southern California so I needed this for dry debris. I used it in my garage and front patio but ran out of battery. The trigger is set to blow full speed or you can gently squeeze for lighter speed. I think it’s a little heavy. I don’t have the correct technique for getting corners. I like it and it’s cool to have but the bad battery life makes it impossible to do a larger area. I think I used it for 10 minutes and BOOM battery dead. I would recommend because of convenience.

Purchased the Blower and Fully charged it. I was able to blow my garage out and when I got to the drive it was out of power. Does not blow very strong. Good for dust and leaves but has a hard time moving small pebble rocks. I do not recommend. I sent it back for a refund.
