This re-imagines the upright vacuum making it cord free. If you are looking for a straight-forward, no frills, reasonably priced cordless vacuum with very good suction and reasonable run times – this is a good choice. Positives; Very easy to put together. Just slide in the handle, insert battery (I needed to charge mine 1st), recline the handle, turn on and select cleaning mode and you are off! This is part of Hoovers Onepwr system family where every product can use the same battery. Included is the larger 4.0 Ah Lithium battery and charger. Extra batteries run around $60 if on sale. Power modes are Brush Off (longest run time), Carpet mode (more suction and brush on – least run time, I got around 20 – 25 minutes) and multi-surface (less suction brush on and got around 40 minutes). The battery is not in the handle, as with most other cordless vacuums. This makes it feel very light weight and not nearly as tiring to use (don’t feel as if you are lifting weights). The swivel steering makes it very maneuverable as well. Really good suction but did seem to “bounce” sometimes on carpet. I have low nap carpet which when using the carpet mode, the cleaning head was “glued: to it. I also have several rooms of medium nap which it handled easily and cleaned very well. My tile floors were no match for it either. Our little terrier doesn’t really shed much but it did pick up a few stray hairs as well as a lot of very fine dirt/particles on all surfaces. It wanted to eat my throw rugs though, so had to dial back suction. The large clear 1-liter dirt cup just slides in/out and is easy to see while using the unit. To empty just pull-out from main unit, click on the release button and bottom “door” opens to release dirt. Pretty much touchless. You can rinse the dirt cup and the filter is also washable. Brush is easily removed and cleaned as well. 3 – 4 hours to recharge from fully discharged battery. You can check the charge by pressing button on battery showing charge as series of led lights. Nice 3-year warranty Negatives While using, battery does not show charge left, so unit just stops with no warning. But I have to state that there is no loss of power as battery loses charge. Due to design it will not fit under some cabinets or beds. No attachments nor anyway to use them No lights on the power nozzle. Overall a nice very easy to use option.

It works as it says and it brings your carpet back to life.I just wish it had a light on it and a detached part for hard to reach places but other than that it works great.

Overall the vacuum is worth the money . it is light weight and easy to move around. not the best on thicker carpet

Purchased this as a replacement for the Hoover Linx. It is a lot bulkier than the Linx and don't find the need for 3 mode choices for a light pickup vacuum. The battery pack is cumbersome and adds unnecessary bulk. It does seem a bit more powerful, but the carpet setting doesn't work on all carpets. Bring back the Linx!!!

If you are looking for a simple and easy to use vacuum, you have found it! I don't think i've ever used a simpler vacuum in my life! Literally from the second I started to open the box I was vacuuming in less than 2 minutes. That's how easy this thing is to put together and use. You take it out of the box, slide the handle into the base, put the battery in and you are off and running! We have a 2400 square foot house and id say about 80% of it is carpeted. I charged the battery up to full, put it on the carpet setting and I was easily able to do the entire house on a single charge with some juice left to spare. Before I did that though, I took our current vacuum and did the entire house. I was surprised that even after vacuuming the house, I still had a full canister of dirt that this vacuum picked up that my old one didn't! That alone tells me that this thing has enough power to easily replace a corded vacuum. This one doesn't have a ton of features. There's basically a on/off button and then 3 settings. Multi surface, carpet and brush off. I found the multi setting didn't work great and I found the brush turning off a few times for no reason. I just left it on the carpet setting and had no problems. It did work great on linoleum as well. One other feature I absolutely love is that this thing can stand up on its own. I own another cordless vacuum by one of the high end very expensive companies and that thing wont even stand up on its own, so I love that about this one! Overall, its a great vacuum, but I did find a couple things missing I would like to have. Number one is a light! I don't know why vacuum manufacturers cant put a few simple LED's on the front of their vacuums. The second is that there is no hose that you can attach something like a crevice tool to. It does great on corners and getting under couches and tables and things, but it wound still be nice to use a crevice tool. Other than those couple gripes, I think this is a very solid, lightweight, and easy to use vacuum. Its also very cool that you can use the same battery for other products as well! If you are looking for a vacuum for your home, RV, dorm room, this would be absolutely perfect for all of them!

Light weight unit that is easy to maneuver. Low profile head unit gets under furniture. Battery life is 30-40 minutes depending on power setting. Collection canister is easy to remove, empty and reattach.

Performed as specified. Very easy and convenient to use - loved that it was cordless n battery lasted for an hour - just right for quick touch ups n pick ups.

The vacuum works great on my tile floor. Picks up even the gravel that gets caught in my shoes outside. The charger works well and the charge lasts a long time.

Do I ever love this vac! We’ve had Dyson for years but for the money this is way better. Good suction and 3 settings. Vac moves well. Battery is strong.

Awesomw vaccum. Plenty of power and the battery lasts long enough to do my whole house. Only thing is i wish i had noticed the one with the detachable handheld vaccum on it before i purchaded this one.

It works well but sometimes it is hard to maneuver because the base moves around I like the older model better it was easier on my hands because of the arthritis. This one does pickup the hair better

I really liked this vacuum. It is very lightweight and just zooms through my space. It was simple to figure out and I like that it stands upright on its own.

The battery life is much better than my current cordless vacuum as well as the suction power.

So far I’ve only used this product a few times in the month I’ve had it, but it has worked great so far. I have very long hair that always gets caught up in the roller but with the grooves this one has it is easy to cut the hair and pull it off. I have one cat so not huge amounts of pet hair, but it does pick up more than my other standard vacuum. I didn’t know how much fur was stuck on the carpet until this vacuum lol. It also picks up litter really well. As for battery life, I have only charged it twice since I’ve had it but I only have a 800 sq ft one bedroom apartment so it doesn’t take a lot of charge to clean my space.

This vacuum is everything I hoped it would be! Battery time is good. Lightweight, picks up even the smallest pieces of fuzz etc. in my carpet and on my wood floors. It makes vacuuming less of a chore.

It didnt last too long, but i would say it needs a better suction power.

Awesome power. So light and easy to use. Love the power one series. We also have the handheld, flashlight and ever the blower.

Although It works great on carpets but not that great in hard floors. Less Noise. Worth for money.
