Suction is perfect!! Vacuum came as advertised. Does a much better cleaning job than my old vacuum. Easy to clean out. Its value is Good.

they were spot on for performance, however too much plastic but with warranty if something breaks the return is accepted - get the 4 year warranty

My bad, I thought from the photo that the canister came off for portable cleaning with the tools. It is a huge pain to move the entire vacuum. Also, the cord is too short as is the tube attachment

Bought this for my daughter's first apartment. Very powerful, was actually kind of gross how much stuff it pulled out of the carpet the first time through (after they shampooed the carpet before she moved in). Attachments are handy, stored on board, including the furniture/stairs brush.

Vacuum is good for light carpet work. Wish the plug retracted like my old one.

Use it at the office 3 times a week and does the job great! Hoover has always deliver great vacuum and i had experiences with other brands and always come back to Hoover!

I would not recommend this vacuum, it leaves lines on carpet which I don't care for. The suction doesn't seem to be great also it has a strip of plastic about an inch wide and it will not pick up on this trip. When emptying the canister it's difficult to get it to come out have to shake and Shake to get it to fall out.

Overall it did what we needed but quit working within a year of buying it.

After couple months the on/off switch stopped going off. Had to plug / unplug to turn on and off. Yesterday the unit motor started racing and smelling like burning with particles coming out of bottom. We have only had this vacuum 13/14 months. Hoover has a 2 year warranty but good luck getting them to honor it. The nearest authorized service center is over 400 miles away. They refuse to send me a box and paid postage label to return to them to obtain a new one. It is just too much expense to find a large box and then package and have to pay to mail to them for about half cost I paid for this in the first place. I definitely do not recommend buying Hoover. I used to. But seems they are not the same as years ago. Unit says it is made in China.
