    I purchased this as a gift for a friend for Christmas so I don't know about the quality of the dvds. I have watched this miniseries in the past and really enjoyed it. It's about the adventures of a young midshipman in the English navy during the Napoleonic war. Exciting naval battles and really good story. I'm giving it a 5 because I really liked the miniseries.

    This is a great series of films, great actors, stories, and production value. Each disc has special features relating to the the production, story, or background of films. Love this series.

    This is an excellent movie about the 54th regiment in the Civil War. The acting was excellent and realistic.

    We got hooked and watched them all night. Great Horatio's a great roll model.

    Low quality playback and screen ratio lowers my rating. The story, sets, acting, and special features are fantastic, however, and I have not been able to find high quality dvd or blu-ray that play in this zone.

    Fantastic transition from book to film. Color, warmth, life enrichening portrayal. High praise to the makers of this series. Makes you forget about the 21st century.
