First of all. Love the idea of letting third parties take a crack at a steam controller.
This controller was ok. Battery life seemed short. It's pretty limited in what it can hook up to (which is the point, I guess). But it was super nice to have the actual steam deck buttons. I play on a desktop that runs steamos (bazzite) and I couldn't figure out how to open the menu on the right. This does.
Analogue sticks were nice and smooth. The triggers let you switch between a fast actuation and a curve (for racing games I guess?), but in both modes it feels like it fires right away. dpad is uninspired.
This isn't a criticism but maybe a preference, this controller feels super light and I didn't like that.
The special thing about this controller is the gyro. I used that in a limited amount and it worked pretty well.
The kicker for me is it stopped working after a week. Simply wouldn't power on. Also, if you try to update the firmware (which you should because of some sleep wake up bug), the exe that installs the firmware if flagged by everything as a virus. I'm sure it isn't but that doesn't inspire confidence.
So I returned it and won't be picking up another one.

Got this for the steamdeck, it's an amazing controller, my only complaints are it's a bit small and light, but if that's okay with you it's an amazing, satisfying to use, and smooth controller

Very passionate gamer here who has been gaming for 20+ years with many different controllers. This is a very lightweight controller compared to Playstation/xbox. The analogs in my opinion are a huge improvement from competitors. Very smooth and responsive with the ability to customize them if you want them more or less responsive. Also very good connectivity, holding down buttons or repeatedly tapping isnt an issue. Its a good solid connection. It is very steam friendly by default. I've had no issues whatsoever. Everything about the controller gets a thumbs up except for 1 complaint. Its not the best idea to put the bluetooth botton right above the analog, I find myself hitting it constantly by mistake when I go to hit start or select buttons. Luckily however you have to hold the bluetooth button down to disconnect so it doesnt disconnect, its more of a annoyance when for instance trying to pull up the map and equipment menu in witcher 3 and hitting bluetooth button because your into the game and not paying attention to the controller. Its an 8/10 for me. I will be purchasing more hori controllers when more colors come out here.

Great gyro, with rare capacitive thumb sticks.

Sharp gyro when wired (I don’t use it wireless). Capacitive thumbsticks are awesome as triggers, to prevent reticle shake. The short throw, pressure sensitive triggers are also good compromises for FPS gamers who only occasionally need to drive vehicles.
The controller is a bit small for my hands, especially the left side. The Xbox layout constantly has my left thumb constantly butting against my index knuckle. My other controllers are DualSense’s. The Xbox layout just isn’t for me.

The controller was great for Steam only. It had a great feel to it. Even thought the controller feels light weight and cheap plasticky it still has a good response. The only draw back I found was that the controller will not work as an X input unless it is connected by the cable. It is not recognized on a pc for games not part of stream or that don’t use the steam controller settings. This is the only reason I had to return it. I purchased this to use on a computer that some games were not tactics to steam.

The controller overall is nice to use. It doesn't feel fragile but does have a light and somewhat cheap feeing to the plastic. The gyro works the same as Steam Deck where you can activate it by resting your thumb on the right stick. The back buttons are nice to have but unfortunately two of them are mapped to two small hard to click buttons on the front underneath the right stick and D-pad, making them significantly less useful. The controller is a good jack-of-all-trades but does lack the versatility already present in the Steam Controller, making this a solid, but imperfect controller if you wish to use a Steam Deck while docked to a monitor or TV.

It was ok, the only controller that will get the right side menu to come up with the decky plug ins. My only complaint is it wouldn’t remember the device, I had to pair each time I turned the console on

Great controller that feels pretty responsive for a Bluetooth device.
I read some reviews that said the controller only worked in steam but it works in all launchers by swapping the input method to x-input (the back buttons don't work in this mode).
The only downside is you trade vibration for motion controls but that didn't matter to me. 'Rumble' drains to much battery.

While the controller did serve the purpose of playing steam games with ease, the quality is poor. The sticks started drifting after a month or two with minimal playtime. Do not recommend as the quality control seems to be lacking. Thrown away after 2 months.
