Really awesome game, and the art book is amazing! Great value!

I recently finished the game and it impresses on every level. They upgraded everything (except for the photo mode) from Zero Dawn. The mechanics, gameplay, story, soundtrack- each component of it, is so amazing. Very happy I decided to get the steelbook version!

Definitely a well handled cross-gen game by Guerilla & Sony. Despite some bug issues it's still patching, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it and recommend it to anyone, especially those wondering who only have a PS4 console for now.

This is a great addition to the series! Definitely a big hit in this house! You definitely lose track of time playing this. Had a few glitches along the way, but reset the ps4 and seemed to resolve itself. But other than that it’s amazing!

Incredible game, everything I wanted and so much more. A lot like the first (Horizon: Zero Dawn) but massively improved in every way. However, at least this early into its release and around 35+ hours in, I encountered a couple (about 5) glitches that required me to load up a previous autosave. Also PS5 version should be the same price as the PS4 version so PS5 users dont have to use the PS4 discs to play.

Good game, but to much secondary mission, the first game is 100% than this one

Greatg game. Steelbook is hogh quality. Extra content is what you expect - a fee skins and weapons, nothing game changing. The story is a little repetitive but the gameplay shines again.

Horizon Forbidden West has a fantastic story and great gameplay! Highly recommend it, especially if you enjoyed the first game. Only gets better from the first.

Any game will have small glitches which require patches but I have only seen a few and they are not enough to warrant downgrading the score. I had one issue which caused me alarm but it turns out is was a controller issue. So far, I’m playing the sorry mode so combat isn’t that difficult and tasks are aplenty! I’d recommend this for anyone. I was slightly disappointed that you can’t free climb as much as Assassin’s Creed but the climb help works enough.

Incredible game so far. The gameplay and the story are great

while forbidden west is a good game, it feels too much like a direct sequel, as in, not enough has changed from the first game. Melee combat feels weak, even with upgraded skills and equipment, even low level enemies are hard to kill with it. aiming is still a bit of a pain like it was in the first game. aloy is simply annoying this time around. plus her messiah complex is tiresome(I.E. i don't need any help, only i can do this, you'll just get in my way...). the wing glider, grapple shot and new combat abilities feel pretty good. if you haven't played horizon since launchin 2017, then this will feel like a nice return. but if you've recently played it, then this might feel too samey.

Aloy is back, and I am here for it! The game itself is a beautifully done game that absolutely continues the the legacy started in Horizon: Zero Dawn. The updated and expanded combat is nice, if not perfect, there are few gripes but mostly manageable. If you can get the collectors edition, I'd recommend it. The Steelbook is beautiful, and the mini art book is just phenomenal.

horizon zero dawn was my all time favorite game on ps4 and now this game is my all time favorite im waiting to get a ps5 so i can play it on there and best buy did a great job with my pre-order having it there on launch day for me im not even close beating the game doing alot of side missions first.

If I could rate this 6 stars, I would. This game is even more breath taking than the first. Which I didn’t think could be possible. Love how they didn’t change the controls from Zero Dawn. Just as it should be. I can’t express enough how much I recommend this game. More in depth that the first. Outstanding!!

If you enjoyed the first one you def want to pick this one up.

The game almost feels like Zelda BOTW. She is now the female Link of Playstation. Almost all of her weapons can be compare to a weapon from Zelda throughout the series. And it copies Skyward Sword to some degree with the flying creature and sale cloth. Aloy only needs her own fairy now. But lovely game overall.
