One of my most favorite albums!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This album is a one of a kind, and one of my favorites of all time! It is one of those albums that makes me confused as to why music from that area of the world doesn't make it over to the U.S. very often. The Lijadu Sisters, and the other musicians that worked with them on their album, are incredibly inventive, and bring in many different influences while still creating a distinct and cohesive sound. This album should be considered a classic by many in the world wide music community, as well as in the U.S. However, it never gained the popularity it deserves. $20 is a steal for this album! Worth every penny!
