I just recently got this game and WOW ... I feel foolish for not getting it earlier. The story line is awesome! the feel of the controls is amazing and the graphics are far beyond most... All i can say is I will be a fan of this game for years to come no doubt about it

Much I can say about this game, but to keep it brief: definitely give it a play. Combat is satisfying, not overly complicated yet in-depth. Graphics are outstanding through and through. Story and voice-acting and simply great quality.

This is the game I bought the PS4 Pro for. In 4k HDR, it's absolutely amazing. The combat is superb, the story is enthralling, just amazing. Spent 50 hours in this game and loved every minute. Still have the expansion to experience as well. My GOTY, easily.

I was curious about the games, and have not regretted since, the visuals and storyline are fantastic, and is worth replaying over again. Everything from the graphics to the music and characters and the open-world that you play in are fantastic!

I didn't know what to expect but this game seemed like a lot of fun, similar to open world games like Assassins Creed Origins. If you've ever seen the show The 100, this kind of reminds me of it. A good mix of futuristic tech with simplistic survival...with robotic dinosaurs. Who can say no to dinosaurs of any kind?? Right from the opening scene this game has stunning visuals and the concept of the game and story are very well done. It's a lot of fun to run around collecting things in order to upgrade weapons and other stuff since the environment never gets boring and there's always something to do. I would absolutely recommend getting this game if any part of you thinks it would be fun. Trust me, you'll like and get addicted to it. I don't play a lot of games but this is one that deserves some attention. Doooo it!

I couldn't put the controller down! 5/5. Be prepare to invest 40+ hours into the main story and Included DLC (Frozen Wilds) its all a very well told story with the combat to definitely enhance the experience.

Truly amazing game exclusively for the PS4. The story and environments are incredible and the game looks even better with 4K and HDR. This edition includes previously released DLC, so you will have the complete game.

This game is a lot of fun. Immersive world. Great graphics. Reponsive controls. Fun, mysterious story. Great game.

This game is fantastic. The story has depth, the open world has lots of opportunities, and the controls feel very tight. I would find myself spending hours in the game without realizing it because it was that immersive.

Im going to be honest: I didn't like this game when I first bought it. I was inexperienced and frankly unskilled, and it really hindered my progress. But, I gave this game a few more chances and now I'm in love with it. It takes a bit of time to learn, if you're just a recreational gamer like me who enjoys exploring open worlds, collecting cool items and a good storyline. This game doesn't hold your hand - it guides you. That took a while for me to get used to. You have to learn to prioritize and find value in certain activities, like crafting or upgrading your skill levels. I'm not an expert by any means, but this game is VERY fun and there's a giant world out there for you to explore!

Sorry for the topic. You see, I bought the game to play it but my nephew who suffers autism saw it on the shelf and asked to played to play it, so I decided to give it to him as a gift since it was completely sealed. I decided to watch him playing it and see what the story is about, great story, great enviroment, and the characters look so real, of course there are some physical limitation on their reactions but it is expected. I stayed there watching playing most of the time so the storyline is great as well gameplay. He beat the whole game at 100% collecting all the trophies. He even beat the dlc which was included in the game. Play it and you will see.

This was an absolutely thrilling experience. The environment, graphics, sound, story, quests, bgm/ost (which I bought!) and characters were compelling and thoroughly enjoyable. It was challenging and difficult at times but always fun. I bought this on a whim (a variety of online critics gave it exceptionally high scores) and I was not disappointed. My only real criticism: certain aspect of the melee combat can cumbersome at times but that issue was infrequent and not enough to detract from the overall game. There are a handful of other minor detractors (occasionally odd character animations, the inventory/crafting is a little cumbersome, etc.) but they shouldn't be enough to prevent overall enjoyment.

I bought this for my 4K tv with my PS4 pro and it did not disappoint. I’ve wanted it even just from when I saw a friend playing it on a standard TV because the gameplay was amazing to watch and even then the graphics were amazing but the 4K upscale really is a difference and makes me glad I opted for the pro with my TV. The first hour and a half of the game I spent in the tutorial really making sure to just enjoy how beautiful it all was. Since then I’ve just continued to get lost wandering the world sometimes doing a quest here and there. I love that it is optional for the open world wandering and going at your own pace play style. If you haven’t played it, I would totally recommend giving it a try.

This has to be one of the best games of 2018 and for the price it was worth it. The graphics were probably some of the best i've seen so far and the story is really compelling. Great open world game. Must have for PS4 fans.

Received this on release day December 5. Started the game on the same night and it is amazing. The graphics are great. I have a PS4 slim and a Vizio HD smart tv 39 inch and it looks great, so you DO NOT need a PS4 Pro or a 4k tv to enjoy this game. I'm only about an hour and a half into the game and so far the cut scenes and game play dynamics are pretty easy to pick up - that being said, if you are like me and have never played a game like this, you might have a bit of a learning curve learning the controls since this game makes use of the directional pad, the touch pad, and the L1/L2/R1/R2/L3/R3 controls on the controller more than some games as it has several different menus you can pull up and access and many different controls/actions for the character. Talking about game mode - I chose normal difficulty, and so far in the tutorial section of the game it has not been hard, but that may change as I progress. There is a pretty clear explanation of the different difficulty settings when starting the game, and normal mode is described as a balanced game play with a decent amount of challenge, and I believe you can go in the options and change the difficulty while playing if needed, so do not worry too much about it. Definitely take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the controls as soon as you get out of the beginning tutorial before you venture out into the open world. One thing is the game was loose in the case when I opened it, but it was fine, no scratches, and I have heard this is common with PS4 game cases even when you buy a new sealed game, but apparently the discs do not scratch easily. Make sure to take out the booklet insert and turn it over to get your Play Station Store redeem code for downloading the theme and the digital art book (THIS CODE HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE!!)

Picked up the expanded version. Easy to get started. Storyline goes along logically and you have to uncover who you are and what happened to the world. Great graphics. Gameplay keeps you interested.

One of, if not the best exclusives Playstation has to offer. Jammed full of fun, and loads of content. The complete edition includes the full game, Frozen Wilds DLC, and access to future DLC packs for free! Highly recommend!

Great way to play Horizon Zero Dawn. Everything is included and playing it on PS5 especially makes the experience great.
