I really do like this collection of classic horror and mystery movies and consider it a good value. I recommend its purchase if you like this content. However, the collection does have a few issues. First of all, the picture of the box on the product description web page shows the "Anniversary Edition", with that label on the bottom of the box. I did not receive that edition, as can be seen in the attached photo of my box. To be fair, careful examination of the printed description of the product never says "Anniversary Edition". I deducted half a star for this error. Second, there is no document in the box that catalogs the contents of each of the 12 double-sided dvds. The listing on the back of the box does not provide that information. The purchaser of the collection has to carefully examine the printing on the narrow band around the hole of each dvd to see what is on that side of the dvd. The marketer of this collection could have easily and cheaply provided that information on a single sheet of paper! For this omission I deducted another half star. I deducted a full star for the poor packaging of the disks themselves. There are 12 double-sided dvds in the set. They are placed into 6 stiff cardboard holders, with a disk on each side. Half of each disk is exposed in these holders, and when placed in the box is in physical contact with a disk in the adjacent holder. As a result, the disks are in danger of getting scratched. I think it would have been cheaper and safer to have a proper dvd envelope for each disk. Some other observations are worthy of note. The printing on the narrow band around the hole of the dvd is clear and looks long lasting. The dvds have a simple but functional menu system. They typically have only a few (typically 4) chapters set up for each film. There are typically 2 films on each side of the dvds. Even with the issues detailed here I would recommend the purchase of this collection. It is hard to find physical media for these films, and they may become hard to find on-line to stream in the future.

This was a great deal for the sale price. It includes a wide variety of classic movies, of which I like. I do not like the current horror films, basically since the 90s, as I find them to be too gory and disturbing. But I do like the old horror classics, many of which are in black / white.

Love late nights watching these classic horror movies! Plus, no commercials!!

Box came a little worn, but Overall, for the full collection included, it's very worth the purchase. Awesome for any fan of older monster movies, with some you might know well, and others never even heard of.

My son grabbed this while walking toward the checkout line. Great price for 50 movies.

Do wish they had restored graphics or enhanced it someway.
