The first and best Dracula movie from Hammer. Stick around for a great death at the end, thanks to recently found footage that was previously cut. Top three Dracula movies

The Blu-ray provided an excellent picture and sound, the best I have ever seen. This movie is my favorite Dracula Movie and you can't beat the two lead actors. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee both give good performances and this movie is fairly loyal to Stoker's novel. It is one of Hammer Studios best productions if not its very best.

Hammer vampire movies are still some of the best ever made and Christopher Lee is still the best Dracula. This is one of the best Hammer Dracula flicks. Glad this has a new Blu-ray upgrade but would have loved to see it released in 4K.

A classic hammer film that started a horror franchise. This print of Dracula looks great. I just wish Warner would have given more on the special features but the movie is a winner

I think this was the hammer Studios best movie. It has all the elements of a good vampire movie. Probably the best Dracula since the original

My favorite Dracula

Hammer's followup to The Curse of Frankenstein and the first Dracula movie in color, is my favorite film version of Stoker's novel.
It reunites Curse of Frankenstein stars Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee (who would share the screen numerous times after this film) as, arguably, the finest actors to portray Van Helsing and the Count, respectively.
Equally memorable is the bone-chilling score from James Bernard.
As with Curse, Horror is more faithful to its literary source than its Universal counterpart.
