Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i use this cable most likely for uses it was not intended for, i plug it into my guitar amplifier and plug an rca cable into it and plug the other end into my laptop (like a microphone) and use audacity to record. but it works well, and the quality is fine here isnt much to say about it but everything works how i was hoping it would, the only problem is that when i record bass it sounds low but thats most likely the sound card. its a cheap alternative to a $300 recording device so i say get it
