It's a typical 5-Pin MIDI cable as advertised. Currently have a pair routed to my synth module. Works like it should and grips the Pins of the female component within the synth nicely. Haven't had any latency or communication issues between my DAW, instrument and AD/DA interface so that's a plus. Please note I gave the Hosa Tech MIDI cable a 5 star "Sound Quality" rating because I didn't want to bring down the overall rating and there was no "not applicable" option available...the reality of course is that MIDI doesn't generate sound, but I digress To conclude, if you give a niche product like this a low rating, there is a 99% chance that it's user error.

Very good price on a basic midi cable: good quality.

For something so low in price the length and quality are easily some of best seen for standard midi cables in this price range.

It's a great cable, and reasonable priced. I wish Best Buy had more Hosa accessories in the store.

i bought this cable because we left our old one at a concert we did in Ohio. So this was an emergency purchase for our next concert. The cable worked great. We usually get our cables through our music house but we didn't have time to order one.

Until now everything Ok with his product. Cheap and so far fine.

better cable excellent for multiple midi production

This is a good chord to have when you are trying to do different things.

I picked up a couple of these and found them to work well. It's been a few months and I know I can rely on these cables in my MIDI setup.

This is a MIDI cable, as long it's not defective, it should work. The main thing you want to look at is length. I needed a 10' one, but see how long of one you need before you buy it. The longer it is, the more expensive.

Easy to use. Im happy to buy it. I can use in different machines. Great price.
