First off if you love gore, just stop reading now and buy/pre-order this movie. This movie isn't made for the casual movie goers Yes this movie has some intense torture scenes so don't buy this and watch it with the kids… seriously :| and NO Eli Roth isn't some psycho twisted mind he had a "perfectly normal" childhood that is why he makes the movies he does. The movie its self has the creepy and humor stuff you come to know and love from Roth. If you seen Roth's other movies [cabin fever, Hostel] and you liked one or both of those movies then you know what you’re running into. If you don’t like these type of movies then why buy them ? perfect for halloween :)

This overall was probably better than the first, and the first torture scene was fantastic. From there on it became a bit drawn out with some scenes being almost funny instead of disturbing. This, to me, could have been one of the most unnerving movies I had seen in awhile, but the feeling died halfway through. good choice nonetheless.

hostel 2 would have been a really good movie if it was not a sequel.the acting is not as good as it was in the first hostel and of course we have seen this story before.so,eli roth,don't try to cash in on a sequel!!!!still though,the movie is entertaining,so i would recommend it slightly to fans of the genre.

Another gory, yet thoughtful horror film from Eli Roth. Not just Hostel part 2, but Hostel + with more story, more characters, more everything. More than torture if you give it a chance. The Blu-ray does have a less than steller picture quality however.

i thought this movie would be more bloody than the first hostel but not so. but anyways overall it was a good enough movie to refer a friend to see it. but i wouldn't buy it for my collection though.

The first one was better. This one was visually stunning in hi def. The ending scenes are very rough. Enjoy.

10 times worst then the first Hostel. It was boring at times. What happened? A third installment would be a shame. The only thing good, you learn the background history of the hound dog crime family.

I think this is way better than hostel .......more gruesome...i just pre-ordered both..a must have for my collection
