What a fantastic game, stuffed full of extras to keep you playing, and one of the best uses of a license: toy, comic, or movie around. While there's typical met expectations of a marathon of races and online multiplayer, as well as quick races, it's all the extra stuff that sets it apart- Split screen 2player racing, which is so frequently overlooked, is SO appreciated! The Hot Wheels license may appeal to kids & collectors, the easy, addictive gameplay is also going to be loved by adults & hardcore gamers and is a PERFECT "bridge" game for a parent & child to play together - beyond expected, in-depth livery editor. Would have been incredibly easy for developers to select a group of Hot Wheels cars and then select 4-5 of the premade, different paint jobs HW already has on offer. Instead, a rather large selection of stickers and up to 1000 layers allows you to completely make your fave HW *YOURS* and display it in your profile, as well as share and download others from the HWU community. - track editor. Create your own tracks to race on, including special track pieces found in actual HW play sets & completely unique pieces only able to be pulled off in a video game (web shooting spiders, magnetized tracks to go up walls and along ceilings, etc). Like the livery editor, you can share creations with the HWU community! -your own "basement" HWU is a typical racing game where you drive, drift, and shoot for the gold, only driven as the actual miniature 1:64 scale cars. Races take place in real world size locations that have set down a track. Among these locations is "your" basement, which you can customize in-depth as you unlock paints, materials, decorations, etc. -use of other licenses. Batman, Back to the Future, Street Fighter, TMNT, even Barbie all have a presence... coming soon? Monster Truck racing While two different games, the best stamp of approval Is that we bought Forza Horizon 5 right before this and they've both found the same amount of playtime. Absolute must own!

I really like the racing experience but I feel like the AI might be too aggressive. The single-player content is decently robust, although it relies heavily on DLC. Maybe wait to get it on sale but I do recommend it.

Bought for child but I played it. Fun to play lots of great graphics.

Super fun game! My 4yo really enjoys watching me struggle with the drifting aspect. Definite learning curve compared to the Cars game, but overall an enjoyable time. Add-one are a plus but it would be nice to not have to download/pay for so many of the advertised cars and levels.

Hot Wheels bringing back the goods, with some nice licensed cars to boot, graphics looking great too!

The game is a lot of fun. But I do detest the constant dlc prices. They are over priced in my opinion.

I bought this for my daughters for Christmas. One loves Hot Wheels and the other loves racing games. I have seen live reviews of this game and it really is as much fun as the pictures look. I got this game at half price during Best Buy’s Black Friday sale. They have some of the best deals you will see.

I don't usually care for racing games, but this game is a blast. The physics are so well-done, it feels exactly like you're drive a toy. The racing mechanics are tight, but not over-the-top like some racing sims. And the giant tracks and obstacles are great.

It’s a fun racing game with many different cars. The mechanics in the game make the races feel like playing with Hot Wheels when you’re a kid.
