Sporting a number of features such as the ability to dim the light, and a visual battery indicator on the ring around the power button, this flashlight feels amored yet refined. A lanyard is included as is a charging cable, also included is a collar to use the light as an ambient source … this collar is likely to get misplaced I would imagine, as it had neither a pouch of a secure storage method. Would have liked a belt pouch, but still very happy with the light.

I think HOTO tried to make a fancy flashlight that people wouldn't mind paying a premium for, but it doesn't do anything better than other options out there and hardly has any modern-day features outside of single-button brightness adjusting. As other reviews have mentioned, you can have real problems plugging in a USB-C cable for charging due to poor design. I have a ton of different USB-C cables so I found one that managed to fit. All that said, there are either smaller flashlights that offer just as much brightness or more at competitive prices or other expensive options that offer useful features like a magnetic end for hands-free use or angle-adjusting to get light into tight areas. This one offers none such features. Skip this flashlight and consider other options that can be just as stylish and at least twice as functional.

Got defective product since the charging light status doesn't work and the product is not charging after first discharge. Since this is just a flashlight, the first recharge after a month because of usage and now I can't return it. What sort of Quality Certification this company do? Best Buy is asking to contact manufacturer without providing any contact details of it. Because of lower cost, can't spend further but recommends not to purchase this product.

Very useful flashlight especially when in latern-mode. But it is a little pricey.

Why would you produce a flashlight and include a charging cable that is too big to fit the port hole. I thought it was defective until i realized the charging cable just couldnt pulg in deep enough to make contact in order to charge it. To the accountants that ruined an otherwise great flashlight, what a dumb area to cheap out on. Ive included pics using my phone charging cable properly fitting and charging the flashlight while the included cable is clearly too big.

I have many Hoto products and I tend to like them all. However, this flashlight just does not work right. The charging light indicator is MIA and it barely holds a full charge for just a few minutes. I wasted my money on this one. Maybe a defected unit; I do not know. I cannot recommend it.

Got this for my parents, it’s a great flashlight. No issues and knowing they will have a rechargeable flashlight in case of an emergency gives me peace of mind.

The flashlight does what it advertises. I'm just not impressed with the product. It's average at best. The coolest feature is the attachable defuser. Looks like a mini lamp shade.

Complete waste of $20. The charging cable that comes shipped with the flashlight doesn’t fit the flashlight. Comes half charged but no way to recharge the flashlight. Tried a few different charging cables and none of them fit the flashlight. Too much hassle to return.

I've had it for 9 months without much use then went to charge, charge status light does not come on. I have tried several USB C cords and none have the charge light appearing.
