It's extremely simple, no crazy programming required. It does have an interesting feature in that if you put food in, and don't hit "start" right away, it resets and won't start until you tell it what to do again. This is a safety feature that prevents you from starting it when empty. It's quite, it's powerful and easy to clean.

The installer sent it back. Had to wait 3 weeks for the replacement to arrive and it was installed on August 29. Was an awfully long wait. The installer, Daniel, did a great job both times.

It was easy to install and looks great. Function is simple and it works good. I would inquire about the grease filter when purchasing unit though. It does not come in the box.

Need to make sure to pull from top of handle to avoid same thing happening to new one! Like the way this one looks and matches my Hotpoint stove. A little pricey I thought, but wanted everything to match, so was worth it to me.
