The tenants love the stove and I was happy that I could provide them a good quality. it was also a nice surprise to have the price lower than what it stated on the internet once I arrived at the store to pick it up.

It is much better than the Tappan oven I had before, which caused the pots to slide all over the place (horrible grills on the Tappan) and was significantly pricier. Hotpoint is a 24", so it's smaller than a traditional oven, but it works just as well. I am glad I picked it up. The only thing I wish it had was a window to see into the oven. Also, the knobs are kind of hard to clean.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This thing is always on. Cant store anything inside because it will heat (hot) it up. In the summer, it's a battle between the AC and Stove. It's a draw. I recommend buying a stove that turns off.

Posted .Hello Alexander - this is Nancy at GE Appliances. Your range has the electronic pilotless ignition, which provides reliable burner ignition operation, eliminating
the need for a standing pilot. Since this does not have a standing pilot, it should not be always on. We recommend all gas appliances be installed by a licensed plumber or other qualified installer. I hope this helps. Thanks for choosing GE!
