The disc looks really good and sounds even better. Really nice addition to your library. The story, I was left wanting more, but I guess that's how Houdini left his audiences as well. And Adrian as Houdini is a huge stretch sine he's about a foot taller and really does not resemble him too much. But he's a good actor and you can overlook that. The rest of the cast is fine. Not the best but better than average.

History Channel's epic two-part Houdini biography gives Adrien Brody a great opportunity to take it over the top in this often times inaccurate but entertaining recounting of the great escape artist's life and times. A glossy production with a good cast and the most faithful of all films when it comes to the facts surrounding Houdin's last days and demise. The blu-ray includes an extended version than what was broadcast and it nicely improves the presentation.

If you're like me and this special 2 part mini-series eluded you...then definitely pull this up on firestick or netflix, etc. Adrian Brody is fantastic in his portrayal of legendary escapist Harry Houdini. The back stories to his rise to fame are insightful and the portrayal of Harry Houdini's inner struggle with greatness is on point. Must See!

Good acting by Adrien Brody and supporting cast. Offers insight into the life and theatrics of Houdini but only brushes the surface.

Houdini is certainly an interesting character and worthy of a movie about his life. This is your chance to see it.

I didn't know much about Houdini, so this movie was very interesting. It kept me interested for the duration.
