House of Cards will have you on the edge of your seat for the entire 4-seasons. It is an incredibly complex drama showing the abject corruption of one man and his wife, starting out in the US Senate, and then manipulating and even murdering his way to the Presidency of the United States. You will have to get used to the fact that the Protagonist (Kevin Spacey) cannot be liked, although he is vastly interesting in spite of his dark motivations for the achievement of power. This series does not make you warm up to human nature, but rather reveals it at its absolute worst. Very entertaining, shocking in some instances, and illuminating, but sadly depressing as well.

Delivery was quick and arrived several days before expected. After watching Season 1, I was hooked and watched subsequent seasons on Netflix as they got released. The picture quality and cinematography is also also first class. Kevin Spacey is very believable as usual in his role as Frank Underwood, although I did feel this season's storyline lacked the same shock value it packed in S2 and S1. If you're buying this to add to your collection, you won't be disappointed. If you're new to House of Cards, I recommend you watch the earlier seasons before diving into this one. You really need to get the back story to appreciate what is going on.

I have to admit that I have yet to watch this season (sigh, too many to binge watch, too little time!). But as soon as this season came out, I had to have it because this show hooks you in and sinks its teeth in you! Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood is ruthlessness done right and the rest of the ensemble cast equally excel as well in portraying characters that you either sympathize with or hate. Truly, one of the best TV dramas of all time!

For two years I wondered how a President Underwood would deal with international leaders. If you wondered too, you will be fascinated to see the battle of wits and egos between Russia's leader and the Underwoods. Your jaw will also drop at the season climax. How will Frank dig himself out from this one? Will the First Lady have a change of heart. Has Frank's House of Cards finally collapsed?

One of the best TV series concerning political drama I've seen in years. All of the seasons in this series show what lengths politicians will go to to advance up the ladder in government office in pursuit of political power. Albeit a fictional setting in Washington D.C. with fictional characters, this TV Series will capture your imagination. Fascinating!

Season three has the developing story of a politician played by Kevin Spacey in his best performance yet. Spacey has brought together an amazing group of talented people as Producer and Star of this great show. Be sure to watch from first season as it is sequential and the characters develope,at least those that survive!

As Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright become president and First Lady respectively, their Machiavellian actions continue in ways that amaze and frighten you. It causes one to wonder about how much verisimilitude is represented in the machinations of these politicians. It is great story telling that results in entertainment as well as reflection on the nature of the political "beast" and has great timing as we approach the next presidential election.

This show is a powerhouse of entertainment!!! Spacey is at the top of his game, its just relentless along the lines of Scandal ( another great show!),each season gets better,cannot wait for the next, dont want to say any details because i dont like spoilers!! Highly reccomend!!

This is one of my favorite TV Shows! Every Season is as good as the previous, it has consistently high quality in Writing & Acting. Kevin Spacey is perfect as Frank Underwood & Robin Wright compliments him perfectly as his Wife. This Show should keep going for many years to come.

Great drama that will keep you guessing. This is action packed and will get you wondering if this is really going on today. What a great group of actors. This is like potato chips...you can't stop with just one season. Not for the kids so watch it after they are in bed.

I love this show. House of Cards is the best show on TV now and, possibly, ever. I cannot recall a drama I've enjoyed more, much less a political drama. I highly recommend this show, but be sure you start watching with season one as each year builds on the previous one.

Excellent for the outstanding acting but the story has lost its bite now that Underwood is the President and maybe being cast into the light makes it harder to weave the darker, dastardly webs of intrigue from which we all miss from season 1 and 2.

Kevin Spacey is excellent as Frank Underwood in this award winning series. Robin Wright is a cool and calculating character who plays the part of Frank's wife. Washington politics are the theme with never ending problems. Great show!

Watched the English version and liked it a lot. Had to watch the first two season of the American version and were not disappointed. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are part of an exceptional cast. Looking forward to finishing season 3.

I'm only finishing up Season 2 and I'm confident the story grows somewhat more outlandish. But that's the genius of the genre that is, truly, meant to be a House of Cards...because it will inevitably fall apart on a consistent basis.

I have the first two seasons of House of Cards on DVD so wanted to watch the third season when it came out. Another fine effort from the cast and I highly recommend it if you are into political thrillers. Season 3 doesn't disappoint

The third year is just as good as the first. Great writing and more story lines. Spacy is at the top! I'm only giving three stars because Sony has not changed its packaging, and does not seem to care that the DVD's are getting scratched because of the cardboard sleeves they are in.

So far I have not been disappointed in this series. It has all that you would expect, assuming you have seen seasons 1 & 2. If you have not seen them.....stop looking at this review and see those first.

Very good continuation of the House of Cards show. Great characters, my wife and I have enjoyed all three seasons. BluRay set has some nice additional features to watch after your done with the season.

This is a great season first off! If you like politics, scandal, and the right kind of drama (i.e. Not jersey shore)- this is the show for you! Kevin spacey is amazing! It's dark but riveting!
