This is our first electric scooter. It is definitely more robust than expected, speedy and strong enough to carry my 235 lbs. Lots of fun! Rear bumper is plastic, breakable. The Bluetooth speaker doesn’t sound great. But we really like it. The box, however, arrived without the screws that hold the handlebars on. When I reached out via the Hover website, the response was “these will be mailed out to you”. No apology. After waiting over a week, with no screws, I reached out again. This time a very apologetic and professional email response arrived, and I had the screws in a few days. So I give Hover customer service a 50% approval rating. The first person blew me off!

Overall a wonderful experience, fun and also a practical way to commute to work if you live close,love it so far and the added features, Bluetooth and cruise control are sweet!

The Hover 1 Alpha is taller than the regular Hover 1 Scooter. It is heavier and has a wider foot board. It's Bluetooth feature is really cool when riding and the light on the footboard during night riding makes it look even cooler. I bought this one for my son, and I have the regular Hover 1, we ride through the city to the stores, get food and even to football practice. GO GREEN! It appears to wear the battery faster than the Hover 1, maybe due to Bluetooth...we are still figuring that part out The roads in Los Angeles are rough, so you have to check screws from time to time and maybe tighten the handle bars.

We live in Savannah and went to visit family in Atlanta. When we went we saw all these ppl riding scooters. So we thought why not give it a whirl.. with that said, the ride was AMAZING! So then I decided to buy a scooter for my kids for Christmas, since the only thing they talked about was those scooters. The Bluetooth speaker feature is GREAT! It is loud and everyone could hear their music. The speed on these scooters are perfect as well! The charge varies, on how much you use it. So my son, rides it to his friends house up the street, parks it and plays basketball then takes the “long way home” and hasn’t run out of juice since he got it. Hope this help! Great investment!

I’ve had this scooter for 1 month and it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever owned! Lives up to my expectations! I haven’t had any problems with it. The biggest thing that I threw away was it’s tire pump. The way you have to attach and air up then take it off the tire is flat. I have a different one that I used. I’m 155lbs and it does goes the 18mph! When it’s cold battery doesn’t last as long. All my friends are jealous. I did buy the 100 dollar warranty through Best Buy just to be on the safe side I haven’t had to use it.

Online description was very helpful. Scooter arrived on time and was easy to assemble. My husband loves it as much as my daughter!! Speed goes up to 18 mph, slower on inclines around 13 mph. The design is nice with a light for night time riding. I really like this scooter and would recommend it to anyone for fun. I'm going to purchase another one for my husband. It even has bluetooth capabilities which my daughter loves!!! She can listen to her music without wearing headphones while she rides for safety.

This scooter takes me around locally and is very convenient. It goes about 20 miles per hour even though the advertised speed is less. It folds easily and is usually charged in about 3 hours or so. Good purchase.

This scooter have power it’s fast and the front end tend to lift when I use it, it put a smile on my face every time. Top speed for me is 19 mph take about 5 sec to reach that speed.

Perfect if your around 220lbs. Powerful enough to get you around town and up moderate hills. The bluetooth speaker was an added bonus for a little sound while scooting around town. Great bang for the buck.

We have been very pleased with this scooter. I weigh 200 lbs and it has no trouble hauling me around. Sometimes I even give my 55 pound grandson a ride with me and it still does fine. We also like the headlight and the bluetooth speaker makes it fun to listen to music from my phone while driving. I don't like using my headphones because I might not be able to hear traffic, etc. The scooter is well built and handles off roading pretty well. I keep it mostly on pavement but ride through the grass sometimes also. Highly recommend!

Great product no complains at all 12 milas max it sounds low but when u see the market and the prices they offer for the extra miles this product makes sense

Use to use it to drive my 240 pound butt about 2 miles to my semi then fold it up and put it in the cab. It’s pretty quick except uphills.

I like it a lot the quality is good I wish the battery could last longer And of course now that I am more used to it I wish it could go faster. The headlight could be brighter.

My son and I have had hours of fun with this scooter. It works as advertised. It has been very reliable. He gets up to about 18 mph in top speed. He loves the bluetooth speaker that allows him to stream and play his favorite DJ Marshmello tunes from his iphone while scooting down the sidewalks. I build electric bikes as a hobby and was prepared to upgrade the controller and or battery should they break down, but it has been dead reliable. Highly recommended!!

I have owned 2 of these sccoters for over 3 weeks and i have been using them daily. I have not tested the range but about a couple of hours of using it on and off, i get it down to 2 bars left. I love the scooter and so does my wife. The speed is simply adequate enough to get a little thrill ride specially on turns. It is a great beginner scooter and highly recommended to anyone that is hesitant on purchasing one.

I was looking for a quality inexpensive electric scooter as a first scooter. The red color came up with great discount so I took the leap. Enough power and distance and most importantly relatively cheap fun compared to more expensive scooters. A bit heavy so not a daily commuter for work imo. If your looking for a scooter to just do some trails or ride around the neighborhood, I would recommend this.

Good speed and excellent battery range. My son is using it in college and so far, so good.

We purchased two of these and they are awesome!! Unfortunately after a couple of weeks, one of the scooters would not charge nor would the power turn on. I checked online and was able to get it started. I continued to have that problem for the next week so I decided to take it back to Best Buy for an exchange. In the meantime, my other scooter also did started doing the same thing so ended up bringing them both back. I’m now awaiting the new ones.

rode it every day and find it very reliable transport and it does what it state in the adverstisement.Station 1 gets you 12 miles per hour and if you use station 2 gets you 18mph just like in the book.thinking of getting another one.Price on this one is well worth it.I am a motor cycle rider riding a 2016 Breakout Harley and I have the same excitement riding this one
