I have purchased one of these very expensive I thought it has better quality. But I experienced with the poor quality

Does not work properly after 6 months. Bought for $200+ and doesn't work so soon is disheartening.

I don't like the fact that I was followed throughout the store by security and under cover loss prevention.

Hover-1 wants you to be the life of the party with its new self-balancing device, the Hover-1 Astro Hoverboard. An easy to use scooter that blasts both colorful lights and party tunes, this device brings the hoverboard experience to life. Out of the box, the Astro Hoverboard comes with the device and AC charging cable. After an initial charge of the board, you're ready to go. To get the most out of the device, connect it to your mobile device and stream music directly through the board itself. The volume isn't very loud, but it is definitely a fun feature when rolling through a room or down the street. The board features LED lights that pulsate throughout your ride from the wheels to the footpads. It is vibrant and definitely eye-catching. I had zero experience with self-balancing boards prior to this, but I had no problems following the easy instructions to get up and running. The board is amazingly responsive to the instructed foot gestures and provides excellent balance during movement and while static in place. While in motion, the device uses its 400W motor to get you going up to 7mph, and after several days of test runs, it ranged from 5-7 miles per charge. The Astro Hoverboard is truly a party device, with its features designed to catch eyes and ears while using it. Remember though, it is highly advised to follow all state and local laws and guidelines in terms of safety while using the hoverboard. Overall, Hover-1 has created a riding experience that is both highly responsive and extremely fun. This board is easy to use and has enough features to entertain a wide age range. This thing is just cool. In every way. It has shiny flashing lights, plays music, and is motorized... What more do you want? Kids today have the coolest stuff. In my day we had to nail wheels to a board to do something like this!! Out of the box and you can tell you are going to have fun. It took a few hours to charge the thing up. I downloaded the app which controls all the lighting and music. Being of an advanced age, I have lost the equilibrium and balance to ride this thing, so I jealously let my son go to town. None of us had ever ridden one of these before so it was a brand new experience. It definitely took some getting used to but after a while, my son was able to really get the hang of it. After a day or two, he was a pro. Every kid on the block stares starry eyed at it whenever he goes by. It definitely has drawn a crowd on the block. The thing scoots, but not so fast that it is unmanageable. I know a trip to the ER could very well be on our plate soon, but this thing is fun and I say oh so worth it!

This is mine, and my family's, first ever hoverboard. We decided to try it out in the house, thinking a fall might be softer than outside. Growing up, I skateboarded so the standing position for this hoverboard was a bit awkward for me. I felt a bit insecure and off-balance. However, within 10 minutes, and some assistance, I pretty much got the hang of it. As for my kids, they had a much shorter learning curve. In less than 5 minutes, they were moving around the house pretty well. They love all the lights on the board and the fact that you can control it with an app. Being able to play music through the board's Bluetooth functionality was great too. We have some hills in our neighborhood and my daughter said that was a bit scary and challenging, going downhill and trying to maintain control of the board and not allow it to go too fast. Overall, this is fun for quick little jaunts. You don't want to get stuck somewhere from the battery being depleted - it's quite heavy to carry a long distance.

Bright, colorful, solidly built, and has provided fun for the whole family. It is a little upsetting that my 6 year old is better on it than me, but hey, you can't win them all. The app connection works well, but is more of a gimmick than regularly useful. I do like the ability in the app to change from beginner to intermediate, to expert modes. The ability to vary the colors and flashing patterns is fun to play with as well, but after a bit, the app doesn't get much use. Looking forward to at least a couple of good years while the kids grow up and have an outdoor activity they love.

My kids love this hover board! The colors and lights are so fun! They had a fairly short learning curve, and have been back and forth in the house all weekend! The quality is great!!!

I picked up this Hoverboard for my Grandsons. I did not realize how big a hit it would be! The lights are dazzling, the 400 Watt motors are powerful enough to travel at 7 mph. The appearance is a shiny black high quality finish. The wheels are clear, to allow light to pass through. I had to try it myself. What a sight! A bald man in his mid-60's on a lit-up Hoverboard! It is a blast! Simply lean forward to move ahead, lean backward to reverse & stand straight to stand still. Or that is how it is supposed to work. O.K., I cheated & hung on to the rail beside me as I learned the ropes, LOL! I really like the fact that Hover-1 is a major brand, with replacement parts & accessories very easy to obtain. I ordered an accessory that is made for this Hover-1. It is a Cart that straps to the Hover board, converting it to a go-cart! Simple velcro straps allow you to use it as a go-cart or a Hoverboard with a quick change. You drive it with 2 sticks, just like a zero turn mower. This arrives tomorrow. CONCLUSION: This Hoverboard is loads of fun for young and old, from Grandson to Grandpa! With the major brand backing you up, lights galore, 400 Watt Motor & obvious high quality, plus accessories & parts easy to get, this is a great purchase that I highly recommend for years of fun.

We love our hover board! We purchased for our child and he loves it

This was so fun to ride! I've had it for a while now. When everyone was over, we threw on helmets and hopped on. All ages had a blast and the lights look spectacular at night. If you've never tried a hover board before, please wear protective gear!!

Wasn't sure where they would expect from this product but it has been a joy to have. Looking into buying accessories for products to have me more days and enjoyment

We needed to get used to balancing ourselves but once you get the hang of it it’s wonderful do much fun! And I love the colors!

My 9 year old son got this for Christmas . He had riden it less than a dozen times and it is not broken. When logged onto app it gives an error code that is unable to be set . Contacted Best Buy who wasted our time by making us come into store for an “appointment “ only to tell us the hoverboard does not have a warranty and there’s nothing that can be done , I understand we did not buy extended warranty but would expect to get more than a month worth of ride time for the price . Recently had a similar issue with something we bought off Amazon , Amazon taking electric bike back after 3 Months .

Has an incredibly stupid “safety” feature that causes the power to instantly shut off if the platform is tipped more than 10°. So my kids, who can cruise around like crazy on their SWAGTRON hover boards, get thrown from this board when they’re cruising near top speed and it suddenly shuts off when they tip past 10°. It’s the equivalent of governing motorcycle speed by causing the front wheel to lock up if you go too fast. What could go wrong, right?

COMPANY HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS AT A REPLACEMENT FOR MONTHS - STOPPED WORKING ON 3RD USE

the hoverboard is good but after 2 days the battery started dying at 35% and after that, the Lights on the footpads were not working and I can't get on my hoverboard on the app and cant connect to Bluetooth
