This broke after only one year, it was fun while it lasted

The first one the device stopped charging. Best Buy replaced it, as it was only a week. Now the new one is doing the same thing. Hover-1 products are crap. Got the scooter, a replacement and two hoverboards failed as well all within 8 months. While it’s fun at first and is very pretty, save up your money and buy a better brand.

I'll start off by saying that this scooter is pretty fun to use, and works well. The tires have pretty good grip, and the steering column is at a comfortable height. It's pretty good for getting around a college campus or the like. It goes relatively fast but not dangerously so, and the battery lasts fairly long. The display showing the speed and remaining battery is pretty great as well, and the fact that it has cruise control is handy considering that you have to push the throttle down kind of a lot to get going. Also, the fact that is has functional running lights makes me a lot more comfortable using it at night. That being said, my biggest complaint about this scooter is that it's kind of hard to take it anywhere you don't really trust. There doesn't really seem to be a good location to secure the thing with a bike lock or something, and while it's sturdy enough that I'm not worried in the slightest about breaking the thing; its construction makes it far too heavy to reasonably collapse and carry about (aside from the fact that even collapsed it's kind of the opposite of compact). Because of that, this isn't really what I'd use to run down to the store to grab a loaf of bread or take to the library to return a book - this scooter is only something you'd want to ride to a place you have eyes on it at all times if you're thinking of using it to actually get around and not just have fun. Other than that one issue, this really is a great scooter and it's a pleasure to ride. Be gentle with the brakes though, or you'll have a bad time trying not to fall off.

Day 1: lost the rear brake light Day 2: lost one of the front wheel bolt But its overall performance is pretty good

Decent. Not for younder children as it is tall. Some parts are cheaply made and break easily.

Too expensive! Wish it went faster for that price !

Nice product good for kids. It’s light weight so be careful but it moves smoothly

*This is my first electric scooter so forgive me if I am biased about the excitement towards the product.* Lightweight enough for a teenager to carry around but heavy enough to remind you that it's not a toy. Handlebars seem easy to lose because of how easily they screw on and off. The headlight is pretty bright I can see about three houses in front of me, the throttle and break levers are placed nicely near the thumbs and also the manual break in the back that you find on traditional scooters is still there so that's great Speaking of throttle, there's cruise control and two Max speed modes (9 and 15) 15 mph feels so much faster on a scooter than it does in a car. This thing can go!

Just got this yesterday and fully charged it overnight. My daughter tried it out today and the motor won't even kick on for it to go. ...and yes, we kick started it to above 2mph like the instructions say. And of course the Hover-1 company is no help.

Purchased for Christmas. The headlight never worked but otherwise was great, for 3 months. Now it does not turn on at all, no matter how long you charge it. Hover 1 will not help because warranty is only 90 days. No phone number.
