"How to Train Your Dragon" is a nice hero's journey story. In each of the movies, there is some unsurmountable challenge which is overcome with help from family and friends, with very healthy amounts of humor and comedy along the way.

This is easily one of the greatest family friendly movies made. If you have seen it, you know what J am talking about. If you have not, well then grab it! Your kids will thank you for it and honestly, you will enjoy it also.

The How to Train Your Dragon films are among my favorite animated films of all time. The 4K is a nice upgrade from the blu-ray, providing superior color in details in the beautiful animation. The steelbook case is slick too.

This was a movie I already owned on Blu-ray but the steel book cover art was so well done that I double dipped. Great movie and fun for the whole family. Highly recommend for fans of family movies and steel book collectors

Walked into best buy to get something unrelated and saw these on a display. We already own the movies on blu-ray but the steenboks were so beautiful and the movie is now in 4k, so I had to purchase. Great for a collector.

Vikings don't take guff. Guff slides off Vikings like omelets off a non-stick skillet. Throw a hunk of guff at a Viking, and he'll snort out a chortle before batting it away with his massive battle-ax or billowing beard or mighty breath. Nosirreee, Vikings take no guff. Unless, of course, it comes in the form of … dragons. Alack, the village of Berk has a dragon problem. Every now and then, a flock of them descends from the sky to snatch a nervous sheep or two or 20. It's a ba-a-a-a-d situation, particularly for the sheep, and the Vikings—as guff resistant as they are—can't quite figure out how to make the dragons go away. Even the great Viking leader, Stoick the Vast, seems at a loss to shoo away these pesky fire-breathers and save their jittery sheep. Every now and then, he gathers his bravest warriors and plows through Scandinavia's coldish waters in search of the dragons' home nest (or hive or condo or whatever) in the hopes of giving some guff of his own. The only things he returns with are more holes in his boats. Of course the only thing Vikings like less than guff is quitting. So they wage their eternal war on the dragons with gusto. That's bad news for Stoick's gangly, grace-averse son, Hiccup. The lad's sure that if he managed to off a dragon he'd get a girlfriend, make his father proud and maybe not feel quite so geeky. But, as everyone in the village reminds him, Hiccup's about as capable of killing a dragon as that "Pants on the Ground" guy was of winning American Idol. "You are many things, Hiccup," his father tells him. "But a dragon killer is not one of them." That doesn't stop Hiccup from trying. So during one particularly frenetic dragon attack, Hiccup fires off a homemade snaring weapon and seems to hit a Night Fury—the most mysterious, elusive dragon of all. The next morning he goes into the forest to see if his "catch" is still there, and sure enough, it is—its limbs tangled and tied and, for the moment, incapable of showering guff on anyone. Hiccup takes his knife out of his belt, walks toward the terrible beast and prepares to deliver the death blow. He raises his hand, and— Well, whatever happens next, you know what doesn't. I mean, the title of the film isn't How to Kill Your Dragon, is it?

There is just something about steelbooks that make me want to buy them even if I already had this on DVD. They are just so well made , (better then the usual plastic) and collectible plus the movie is amazing, big fan!

I picked this up because I am a big Dan of these movies. The steelbook is gorgeous and one of the nicest ones out now. The 4K transfer of the movie is fantastic as well. This is a great edition of this awesome movie.

We never saw this movie and took a gamble by just buying it to add it to our collection but to our surprise it was really good!! The kids really enjoyed it. We are now looking the second one to add to our collection

I'm so glad that I started watching these movies. I have not been disappointed! Hiccup and Toothless are the cutest! Kids and adults alike will enjoy this movie. Glad I got it for a low low price on 4k!

Watch these movies if you haven't even if you are an adult who doesn't have kids. They are great, and though it's a fantasy setting with dragons and vikings, the stories and themes are relevant to anyone.

HTTYD has been one of my favorite animated films. Always thought it was a great looking movie. This 4K upgrade crushes the 1080p version. The colors are spectacular and this is well worth the upgrade

This is a great movie for the whole family! I bought the steelbook version of this and the second movie - they are so beautiful inside and out! Definitely one of my all-time favorite animated films!

This 4K transfer is absolutely stunning! I guess it helps that the film has already vibrant colors and clean CGI. But this was an absolute masterpiece of transferring even if it is a kids movie.

Excellent front cover, excellent interior cover, and it's for one Dreamworks best animated movies. If you ever wanted to own a steelbook version of How to Train Your Dragon, well, here you go.

This is one of my favorite movies. I could rewatch it many times and it never gets old. The 4k picture also looks amazing on my new tv. I would highly recommend for anyone’s family movie night.

I can’t give this series more praise. As much as I love Disney...Disney, not Pixar, hated Wall-E. How to Train Your Dragon is perfection on the screen and now in 4K and Steelbook!!!! YES!!!

This is a wonderful SteelBook for a great sequel and it's the first time it is available in 4K/UHD format. Pretty much everything you could ask for at this price point. Highly recommended

I thought the movie was great to begin with. 4K gives more detail than the blu-ray and the HDR color palette is much better than the blu-ray. I recommend buying this over the blu-ray.

Good movie that lays the foundation for the sequels to build on. Touches on family values and how to find oneself while being genuinely enjoyable for the cinematic and mystical features.
