How to Train Your Dragon is a great family film. It stars foremost a cast of characters that are hilarious and relatable. The art is wonderful. The plot is simple and straightforward but remains interesting and fun as it goes through the main characters struggles to learn and be accepted. The kids will love the dragons and adults will be able to relate to the story of a young man emerging into the world and being accepted.

I purchased How to Train your Dragon for my 5 year old, and I think I enjoyed it more than she did. I am a avid Dragon fan ever since I was a little girl. They are majestic, beautiful creatures....This movie gave them a sense of family that we never understood. Great Job...I will be buying this movie for all my nephew and nieces for the holiday season.

My kids couldnt wait to see this movie and while my expectations weren't that high to begin with I was blown away. The 3D version at the theater was fantastic, but the 2D version is just as enjoyable. Clever, funny, interesting for both kids and adults. (pleanty of subtle adult humor) Animation is as good as anything that's been done. Enjoy!

I was a little skeptical about watching this movie initially, but it turned out to be very good! Of course, it kept the kids entertained, but having a deeper story helped to keep us as parents entertained as well. I would definitely recommend this movie!

I was surprised at how good this movie was when I saw it with my 7 and 10 year old children. Then my 18 year old (girl) saw it and really thought it was soooo cute, too! ...Even has a good message for us to remember! Watch it, you won't be disappointed!

Seldom does a good Kids Movie come along - where the parent doesn't have to cringe due to the dual meanings of the way things are phrased. EXCELLENT movie for the whole family!

I don't know much about plots or character developement but I do know that this was funny, heartwarming, exciting, and very enjoyable to watch with my 4yr old.
