We finally got to watch this (had to wait for Christmas!) and it was the cute and funny friends we all know and love! The story was cute and had a good message that we talked about with our young one. We were all too sad with the length of the movie though... it’s not a full length movie by any means.

Perfect Christmas story for the entire family to watch. The movie takes off right after the last film with all the familiar characters. This is a short movie and quite entertaining for both children and adults.

I love all the dragon rider movies and this one was no exception. I enjoyed seeing the reaction of the children at meeting Toothless, and the way life on the island had changed since the dragons had left.

Even tho it was a short movie (21 min) it was worth it. If you are a How to Train Your Dragon fan then this one will complement your collection. Hopefully there will be more like this.

I bought this as we enjoyed the movies and tv series. It was a bit weaker than most, but still had enjoyable moments. It felt as though this were just a quick throw together movie.

How to Train Your Dragon fans will love this one. In the movie timeline this would be just before the end of the 3rd movie. It tells the story of a Viking holiday (like Christmas) and the vikings missing their dragons.
The younger vikings (mostly Hiccup and Astrid's kids) are afraid of dragons, so the adults put together a Pageant to teach them about dragons.
My 4 year old just loved every second of it. It was a fun watch for parents too, with a few good jokes the grown-ups will enjoy (and are still appropriate for kids).

A holiday special continuing the story after “How to Train Your Dragon 3.” It also maintains the quality of writing, characterization, and animation of the movies and previous cartoon series. This time, Hiccup’s and Astrid’s children having never seen dragons are developing the anti-dragon attitudes characteristic of Vikings at the start of the movie series. Meanwhile, Toothless is missing Hiccup and wants to introduce his children to cooperating with Vikings. A Christmas pageant intended to introduce dragons to the Viking children turns into the vehicle reintroducing dragons to the Viking community.

Definitely a good film to watch during the holidays. And for those who love how to train your dragon this a good film to enjoy to see how this will conclude the storyline. Hiccup and toothless have raised their families well and this is something to watch during the holidays.

My kids like to see everybody grown up. The story was good and as always the animation of top notch. I just wish that it would have been longer. We like this series a lot and this movie did not disappoint us!

Excellent little movie. It was way to short. We really wanted a full length movie, but enjoyed it. We can't wait for the next full length movie.

Personally haven't had a chance to see it yet. Picked it up based on other positive reviews. I gave it 4 stars because the movies were always excellent with some of the short movies leaving me scratching my head thinking "what the?"
