I purchased others based on the size of the lens and this one has performed just like my others. Good to have a UV protection filter but I also find it essential to have a polarized one on as well.

The filter will bring out colors in photos especially for the sky and for a low price you can't really go wrong. Also when taking photos of the ocean or any body of water the glare is reduced. Especially helpful on a sunny day.

outdoor photographers must have this filter for glare on the water or sunny days. hoya makes a very good filter for the money . a good value.

Use this filter on really sunny days works great. Also protects my lens so I leave my lens cap off.

There were several 55 MM filters in the store but this one was well made and had filtering capabilities that exceeded the others. Worth the extra price compared to the cheaper models.

Excellent filter, I used it for D5500 camera and there is a great difference on pictures taken with this filter and without the filter. I loved it. :) Easy fit ultra smooth on camera just turn it and it fits right in and tightly secured. Nicely engineered.

While one can purchase a polarizer for less expensive, I have always had better luck with and brand polarizers such as this Hoya model. It does not negatively affect my images in any way.

High quality nice thin size. Very nice for enhancing colors. Great for landscape photos to bring out sky.

Does the job, the price is right. It's a little hard to remove; to remove it I found it good to put a rubber band around the ridged ring to get a better grip.

I am a beginner a friend told me about this lens. I could not believe the difference. I played with several pictures with it and then without it. My husband and I were in Yellowstone. My pictures were fabulous.
