    I had this filter on my lens during a fireworks display. Long story short, this filter took the damage instead of my $1k lens. Exactly what I bought it for and did a great job.

    The lens filter protects the lens perfectly. The other ones that repel dust or whatever, are almost double in cost. This works fine. Len's are already expensive enough
