I enjoyed the tracks on this Album. Great voice and lyrics.

I read about Hozier in my local college newspaper because where else are you going to find out about under the radar new artists who don't follow the rules of image over talent that make the mainstream media take notice? Hozier is a little bit bluesy, a little bit folky, and a bit of a rocker. He'll appeal to folks who like the more rhythmic recent Iron & Wine releases, to people who want to enjoy Bon Iver but find him too floaty, to people who remember Cat Stevens before he was Yusuf, and to people who have gotten into the recent upsurge of upbeat acoustic bands like Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers. I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes next.

More to this CD than just Take Me to Church. A good overall album.

Did not buy for myself but have been told it's a very good record.

The CD has several great songs and the whole album is listenable.

I liked the song Take Me To Church, and have friends who were raving about this band. I am not upset with my purchase, I was just expecting a little more diversity in the sound. I could do without the vocal effects on every song. The album as a whole was ok, 3 out 5.

Great soulful music love relaxingg to this kinda stuff

Thoughtful tracks with great acoustic vibe throuhout.

This is one of those albums that just about everyone seems to love. It's rare that I find a new artist that I can play for almost everyone I know. Usually, I only listen to lesser known musicians because I feel that artists with mass appeal are much too poppy and generic. Hozier, is an amazing singer/songwriter and a true musician. I started introducing him to people as a relative unknown, but I'm pretty sure he's on his way to being a household name.

The only thing I have to say that I like about this album is the song Take Me To Church. Should have only got only got the single.

Im not really sure what I was expecting on the Cd. It starts off strong with the first 3 song really good. then repeat repeat repeat
