Its slow... but that's why the price is so low !

I have never seen a USB 3.0 drive perform such slow. Just to copy a single large file of about 2GB size, it takes about 2mins and 45 secs. It seems like it copies the file in blocks of about 200MB, It would copy one chunk of about 200mb with a speed of about 30mb/sec for 7-8 seconds, and then it would just pause for about 10 secs, doing nothing!! Maybe it is just caching data in the buffer. But during the entire writing process, this same behavior keeps repeating until the whole file is copied. So, even though the speed peaks to about 30-40mb/sec momentarily, but the overall average write-speed turns to be even slower than 10mb/sec. And just to clarify, I had plugged in this flash drive to the SuperSpeed 3.0 USB port on my latest Windows10 laptop. I have used this drive for over a month now, and I have seen the same behavior everytime... even on different laptops. But then, the lower price is the main highlight here. If you are looking for a cheap buy then go for it. You still get a full 128GB of handy storage. But if you are looking for performance, then you can give it a pass !

Smaller than advertised. 128GB is really 117GB

When is size says "128GB" you're really only given 117GB of free space. Just something the industry has always maintained and I've grown to except. Personally, I'd prefer the industry to just list the free space available for use. It makes more sense and would be less misleading. Used space= 128 kb. Free space = 117GB. (That's a loss of 11 GB's!) If this was Milk or Gas, we would all be upset, but with memory... whatever. The drive itself is well built and functions as expected. It's time to stand up and demand our missing 11 GBs!! LOL
