May I say love this HP Chromebook. Faster than my previous one which I gave to my daughter. Faster and screen is awesome. What a great deal that I got at Best Buy. Would purchase again.

Bought this to replace my SECOND Acer Chromebook Spin (713, then 714); both of which died after less than 2 years (NOTE TO SELF- Stay away from Acer!). I really like the x360. I just wish HP would make a display that is more than 250-300 nits in brightness (this one is 300). In a bright room or outside on a porch, the brightness has to be turned up full to see the display. Also, I later discovered this Chromebook does not support USI Styluses. A bit disappointing, but it is what it is. Aside from that, the speakers are great, plenty of power and the keyboard is great! I recommend this model!

Quick, nice compliment of features. A backlit keyboard was a must for my needs, and it's not a very common feature. Awesome display and touch screen. The only criticism I have is.... it's a little on the heavy side, but I knew that going in (from reviews). This is a solid machine and a great performer.

This is my first Chromebook in years. Chrome OS has come a long way. Most of my documents are in MS Office and with 365 I can do just about everything I need to. It’s fast and it has great battery life. A good Windows computer that would been able to operate the newest OS 11 with AI would have cost 3 times as much.
I highly recommend it!

So far, so good. I searched for months, found what I wanted and waited for it to go on sale. It is very difficult to find a Chromebook with a back lit keyboard and touch screen at this price. The only thing that I don't like about it, for now, is that it doesn't have a dedicated cap lock or delete key.

I love my new computer. It is not too big or too small but just right. The battery life is long and the processor is fast and the picture quality is great. I am not disappointed, great buy.

The HP Chromebook Plus is not too bad. I like the speed of startup and processing. But, I'm not too pleased with the trackpad - I use a trackball instead, which makes it tolerable.
And... hate the Chrome browser, which will not open many web sites (e.g. Texasdmv.gov, Texas.gov, etc., etc.) and it doesn't have a video player to play videos on web pages (e.g. MSN, etc.) and haven't been able to find one compatible with the Linux and Android system.
I also am not too pleased with having to learn the unique aspects of using a Chromebook vs a Windows Laptop - there are quite a few differences, which make the transition a bit of a slow, frustrating process.
And... its not just a Chrome problem - I'm also using the Duck Duck Go and Opera browsers, which have the same problems.
At the price, it really should be compatible with the HP Pavilion Windows 11 and similar Laptops - which it isn't because of such limitations of the Chromebook. The only reason I bought one was because its rated as having the best security for a Laptop - primarily because it runs the Linux system, which is not as much of a target for "hackers," because there aren't as many of them as Windows and Mac PC's. Otherwise I would stick with the HP Pavilion Windows Laptops - which I have 3 of.
So, if you aren't tolerant of such idiosyncrasies - you're much better off with the HP Pavilion Windows Laptop, or similar...

Purchased this Chromebook for my wife who is tech challenged, and she loves it so far. It's fairly light, screen is bright and sharp, and it has a backlit keyboard.
