As a gamer, I really wanted to go all out, but as a soon-to-be first time Mom, I knew I wouldn't have time anymore. So, instead, I decided to get this Chromebook for homework assignments and general web browsing. We already have a desktop computer, which is shared, so the Chromebook allows for me to work while the desktop is in use. If you're not expecting much out of this Chromebook, then you'll be extremely happy. It's perfect for what I purchased it for, as well as affordable. Depending on what I'm doing, the battery life is great (Youtube, Hulu, etc. drain it much faster, of course).

Nice computer. Did not realize there was not a CD ROM included. Functionality is limited. I would not recommend for someone one in a higher level of computer use.

I have a couple of negatives about this Chromebook. First the keyboard doesn't have a delete button, so you have to backspace or go to the control panel and mark and cut things. There is no Caps Lock either you have to use alt+magnify. Last I wish it had a SD photo card slot. I have to use a SD card reader. Last printing from the Cloud is terrible and I have an HP printer. If my local Best Buy had all of the Chromebooks they sell in the store I might have made a better choice. I suppose once I get use to the keyboard and get use to its short comings I'll have a different opinion. Still not a bad deal.

I purchased my HP Chromebook version 3.1.6, when I was a Junior in high school, to keep up with my online classes and essays, that was a little over two years ago, and it is still in amazing condition, helping me through college. While the HP Chromebook may not be suitable for all people, because of it’s downloading properties or battery life, It is the perfect fit for students or users of simple internet activity, with it’s functionality and ease of transport due to it being a lightweight laptop. The HP Chromebook operates with a Chrome OS system created by Google. It is processed my Intel, which also supports the graphics. It has 2GB of memory and a 16GB hard drive, and also connected with Google Drive. The battery life fully charged usually lasts up to 9 hours and 15 minutes, which is pretty average. It includes many useful ports, such as, 2 USB port, HDMI, and a headphone jack on the left side. On the right side, there is another USB port, a place to insert a memory card for alternative storage, and a charger port. It also includes a front facing HD Webcam. In order to use any program on the laptop, you must be connected to internet access, which may be a downfall for those who may not be able to stay connected at all times. You are not able to download alternate softwares or any other programs that are not provided in the Google App Store, examples of printer softwares or gaming programs, since the operating system does not support it and there is also no disc drive. The white exterior is also a bit difficult to keep clean, my once white laptop has become quite grey. Although there are some disadvantages, this is my favorite laptop I have ever used. As a student and not the most extravagant internet user, it has everything I need, and all programs are connected with my google account, so I am able to pull my work up on any device, as soon as I login to my account. It is also almost impossible to contract any viruses, because of it’s strong firewalls and inability to download programs harmful to it’s operating system. It is a breeze when transporting it when I need to, because of it’s lightweight. I have never found a problem with having to be connected to internet, since wifi is usually present everywhere I go. I have found something difficult is printing from my laptop, I am unable to download my printer’s software, so I have to use my desktop, if you have a printer that offers aircloud, then this laptop will be compatible with it. It gets the job done and I have never been dissatisfied with it’s capabilities. Overall, if you're a simplistic person when it comes to technology, this is the perfect fit for you. It was also an amazing deal. I bought mine new and it ran me about $300.00, which was a great investment for how many assignments and tasks it has gotten me through. It’s a fast laptop that has always met all of my expectations. Although, I have difficulty printing from this laptop, I have never had any major disadvantages while using it.

This was a gift for my daughter.She loves this notebook as it is compatible with the google classroom she uses at school.This makes homework easy. I love it when I need to use a computer.

I bought this as a gift for my grandmother, MUCH simpler than new windows computers (switching to mac at this point is too different, not an option). This turned out to be an excellent alternative. It's incredibly snappy and simple to use.

If you are in the market for a Chromebook, this one is great. I find that I have to go back and forth between this and an old laptop because of some limitations. If you are already using drive pretty heavily than this will work for you.

I bought this chrome book for my daughter for school. She absolutely loves it. It does everything that she needs for her online virtual school. Like the fact she doesn't have to wait for it load a bunch of applications when you power it on, it comes right on.

My kids love this and works great for school with out breaking the bank!!

Bought this Chromebook for a 7th grade junior high student. She wanted an HP 14" and absolutely loves it. She does home work with ease & set it up by herself. Got a price match for a great price. Ordered it on-line with ease. Could not have asked for a better purchase. Best Buy on-line helped with the process and it arrived well packaged in a short amount of time. A+

This chromebook was bought because I needed something that quick and efficient to use for college. I thought that the blue color indicated and shown of this chromebook was a nice color. When I received the chromebook and opened the box I realized the color was more of a dark teal type color and was very tacky. I would recommend this color for younger children as they may love it, but for me it was way too tacky. Other than that the computer worked great when I turned it on, but I did exchange it for a silver option.

This laptops is a very good one with out having to spend a lot of money.My son needed it for school purposes only and it has worked very well without any problems.

My daughter selected and purchased this Chromebook with her birthday money. She has been thrilled with it & she is so protective of it since she had to use her money.

Bought this for my son after much research on Chrome Books for him, this has worked perfectly and I am VERY pleased with my purchase, would definitely do it again.
