It's no MacBook, obviously, but I think we all know that. You're buying this thing either because you need an affordable laptop for basic needs, because your kid wants a computer, you're already in the Google ecosystem, or some combination of the three. Regardless of your reason, this thing surprised me. I can get my work done (thanks to my employer using web apps), do general browsing and even enjoy some music thanks to the decent sounding speaker! While I wouldn't try to edit photos with how meh the screen is, it still looks good enough to watch the occasional movie, so take from that what you will. Overall, this is a great value for the money -- ESPECIALLY if you can get it while it's on sale!

Just what I needed. Price, performance and good security. The service at Best Buys was outstanding. I wish the keys lit up. But for this price no complaints. The battey life is very important and so far last as long as the description says.

Absolutely perfect for it's intended purpose. My son needed a Chromebook for middle school and we have had nothing but issues with the school loaned Chromebooks. I found this one and the price was great for what you got. It is quick and efficient. My son loves it. It seems more durable than a basic laptop and has worked great for our needs.

The backlit keyboard is great, even has two settings. The computer works for everything I need and it handles everything I give it. Very nice computer.

What a bargain. Works great for a really low price

Great experience as I walked in knowing what I was going to purchase. It was the MacBook 4. It was a graduation gift for my grandson. As I walked in with my gym clothes on. I was thinking I’d have to beg for help. I was greeted immediately with a welcoming smile and a very knowledgeable person and made the buying experience a breeze!

I am retired, use this device recreationally. Not appropriate for a work environment. Does not connect to my iPhone personal hotspot. Earlier model did. For the price, it is an adequate substitute for a full service Windows based laptop.

Bought this for my mother who isn’t the most tech savvy. She has an easy time navigating it and there are no complaints. Good quality and clear screen.

We're used to windows laptops, so this is rather different for us. The gray on gray keys makes it hard to see the letters. It's ok for the price and for doing simple things like surfing the internet or checking your email but not for people who do a lot of things with their laptops.

Overall value is great for the hardware and software your getting. Nothing fancy, just straight to the point computing for the starter version. Speed is adequate and storage capacity is there - which you could always add more with an external. The sound is basic and graphics card is standard. A great but for entry level, i just want something to "toss @

Exactly as described and exactly what I needed. I could do with a "punchier" screen display, but I'm not using it for streaming or anything, so it's perfectly capable as is. Super light, does have a delicate material feel to it, so be cautious on traveling and stacking to be safe.

Use this laptop for daily productive tasks and gets the job done.

Easier to use for me than the first one I bought. It was a windows and was very slow. I then exchanged it for a different chrome computer and had technical issues that ir was sent out to geek squad to repair. It worked fine for 24 hours then started acting up with same issues. I then exchanged that one for the chrome book I have now and I love it.
