This is a nice, compact laptop that’s about the perfect size for folks who travel frequently. Its 14 inch screen is plenty large enough for easy viewing, yet the laptop itself is small enough to carry with you most anywhere. It’s also relatively light at about three pounds.

Computer works very well and is cheap. I bought for my kids school.

This laptop has good power for everyday use. The SSD makes it start up fast and it has only a modest amount of preinstalled software. It’s small and light for good portability. If you’re like me and use it to run a few apps for school, a lot of internet, occasional streaming, this is a very affordable computer with all the necessities.

I'm not a techie and usually get my husbands hand-me-down laptops. He actually picked this one out for me and for what I do on a computer it's perfect. I rarely do more than check my facebook and look for things on Google. If I want to add more to that this laptop can handle it. I gave it 4 stars due to the small keyboard but I'm getting used to it.

This is the 3rd HP laptop I have owned and I really enjoy them. This one is so lightweight, comfortable to hold, as well as has everything I need or want. The only con: is that this one doesn't have a ten key on the right side. I have used a 10 key for so long, I need to get reacquainted with the number keys at the top of the keyboard.

I bought this computer for my daughter who just started 6th grade and needed one for school. It’s perfect. Not too fancy, but powerful enough to run Microsoft Office. It fits in her bag, and doesn’t weigh a lot. I have the updated version of this computer that I use for work when traveling. Had for 6-months, it works great.

A great product especially if you have kids using it. I needed a laptop that was durable and reliable. I keep it near by side table and can get on the internet and do last minute assignments before I pass out from work and kids. Many times I will find my daughter using this although she was given a Mac pro book last year

This laptop is affordable and lightweight! Recommend!

I have enjoyed this laptop so far..if you’re looking to use office be sure you buy it when you purchase the laptop or it will be super expensive later on (which I mistakenly didn’t do) fairly easy to use. I still prefer my MacBook over this one but I don’t regret purchasing this laptop. It’s a great laptop for college students

We bought this laptop for our daughter as she got started with college this year. It's got a nice display, is speedy enough for her, and is quite lightweight for toting around campus. This should keep her happy for the next few years in school. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

This is a perfect laptop for my needs , fully capable for what I want and love the fact that it is so easy to set up and get moving on it. Also love the size and weight , perfect for taking with me wherever I need to use it. Highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting to run some of the programs that I do for my major, but this laptop more than holds up. It consistently starts up quickly and runs smoothly. I am taking away one star for battery life. It seems to get used up a little quickly, but I've never been in danger of losing power during my classes.

Easy, stress free buying experience. It didn't have the most bells and whistles, but it was perfect for what we needed and the price was certainly reasonable. This laptop fit our needs without breaking the bank and thanks to helpful staff we were able to find what we needed almost immediately.

My husband bought this and he seems happy with it so far. It’s more of a portable computer for work not his main laptop. It’s nice to have as an extra for work things, but I wouldn’t say as the main one if you are looking for a quicker-response or multitasking laptop.

For the price it's exactly what I needed for school. Handles everything I need it to do very well. Happy with purchase. I would recommend getting a wireless mouse , shut down the track pad, and take it out of safe mode. Be sure you download an antivirus after you do so. I use avast free.

Great if all you're doing is using the web browser and maybe some light tasks like Word or very simple Excel docs. The laptop comes with S mode enabled, which is annoying if you're an advanced user, but may be a consideration if you're buying this computer for someone with limited computer knowledge or don't have any interest in using software from outside of the Microsoft Store. Personally, I ended up upgrading the memory and diabling S Mode, which is not something I would want to do if I had never done it before. I did at least appreciate the option to upgrade the memory, not all manufacturers these days allow you to access the RAM chips without a soldering iron and a lot of expertise. Anyway, once I made those changes it turned into a pretty good day to day computer. Just wish it had been better out of the box.

I've had this laptop for a month now and so far, it's been good. I really only need one to check my emails and use Microsoft Office programs for basic daily tasks. The price is also great, I got it during one of Best Buy's laptop sale and for what I paid, this is a really great buy.

I got this for my daughter for college. She uses it every day. She is about to graduate, and this computer got her through it all, and it was not a lot of money, either!

Mine came in S Mode, which means security is handled by the browser Edge. You cannot download any software not approved by Edge, including other browsers. I ended up purchasing separate security and getting out of S mode. Otherwise, great price for basic computing.

I’m really using this laptop for school because we really do online work sometimes. And to watch netflix and hulu. This laptop is really good for like laid back things. Not too big , not too small. Also, this golden color is very pretty. And laptop not too pricey, my opinion.
