This is a great laptop for basic uses such as Zoom, internet browsing etc. The UFS storage is relatively fast compared to eMMC drives. For those that are comfortable opening the machine up, you can easily swap the 4GB module for an 8GB or 16 GB module. This will make the machine better, especially with more open tabs or programs like Zoom. It's easy to use an SD card for additional storage with the builtin slot. The machine does work with Linux with some caveats. The UFS drive isn't recognised by all installations so you may have to use a Live image like Ubuntu or Debian Live. Also, the Mediatek WiFi works but the power saving settings in currently available kernels freezes on suspend. Solution, disable suspend, and it'll work fine. I get good battery life and performance from this machine.

Overall i have a good experience with the HP 14" laptop i bought from best buy it was $100 off and it does everything i need! Battery life is good graphics are amazing and for being a cheaper laptop i didn't expect how great all audio and display settings are very easy to change to your liking.

Dear Best Buy Customer Service, I am writing to formally report a concern regarding my recent experience at one of your Best Buy locations. I would like to clarify that the product I purchased is excellent and fully meets my needs. It was purchased for an elderly man, and he is very satisfied with it. I have no concerns at all about the quality or performance of the product. However, I was very disappointed by the behavior of one of your employees during this purchase. The employee was rude and unprofessional, and repeatedly stated that the product was “trash.” He questioned why I was buying it and made negative comments about my decision, even though he does not know my personal reasons or situation. I found this behavior inappropriate and disrespectful. As a customer, I believe I have the right to decide how to spend my money without being judged or spoken to rudely. The employee’s comments made me uncomfortable and discouraged me from wanting to shop at Best Buy again. I am submitting this complaint not because of the product, but because of the employee’s conduct. I hope this issue can be addressed so that future customers are treated with respect and professionalism. Thank you for taking the time to review my concern.

I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks, and it’s been a really solid experience. The design is lightweight and easy to carry around, which makes it great for school or travel. The screen is bright and clear, and colors look accurate whether I’m watching videos or working on projects. Performance-wise, it handles everyday tasks quickly—web browsing, streaming, and homework apps all run smoothly. It even manages light gaming without getting too hot. The battery life is surprisingly strong, lasting most of the day on a single charge. The keyboard feels comfortable, and the trackpad is responsive. My only small complaint is that the fans can get a bit loud when doing heavier tasks, but it's not a major issue. Overall, this laptop offers great value for the price, with good performance, long battery life, and a clean design. Perfect for students or anyone who needs a reliable device.

Good for basic tasks, though it does not multitask well due, I suppose, to a slow processor and minimal 4 gb RAM. It froze up on me altogether after a month of use, and I had to re-install windows, but it has been working fine since. A good back-up laptop, and at a very reasonable price.

Good quality and very fast. It is compatible and easy to carry.

Easy operation. Simple set up. I was interested in an economical solution for journaling on Word. Basic budgeting on Excel. The price was perfect for the uses I needed it for. Pleased.

The computer is okay for light use, but it doesn’t seem well-suited for business owners. Performance drops significantly during Zoom meetings and while working in my CRM, becoming slow or unresponsive. Other than that, it works fine.

So far so good. I use this as a companion computer for my main laptop computer. It does what I need it to do. I’m surprisingly impressed at how fast it is. I’m looking forward to upgrading its features. The display could be better.

Really haven't worked on it yet so I don't know what the battery life is like I do know that the charger cord is getting hot real fast I'm a little concerned about that

Turned out the laptop was smaller than I expected and frankly, it's slower than I expected from a new laptop but I'll manage. So I say this is a decent laptop, not great but workable.

Awesome little tool to get your job done on the road!

A basic laptop for simple uses. Email, web, Bluetooth/WiFi. However, it cannot handle tasks like syncing two monitors. The laptop only has one HDMI output. I thought that my docking station would work, but it doesn’t. I have since purchased three (one from a local tech store; one directly from HP; and one from Best Buy), and all three failed.

Great laptop for the price. Very pleased with my purchase. My older laptop died suddenly and I needed a replacement fast.
