How about this for my 9-year-old son. The Chromebook is very different from the one he uses in school and he points out in all of the differences such as the screen is a lot bigger, the Chromebook includes a keypad. He also appreciates that the couch lock is gone and it's a search key. My son was able to install all of his school apps and since he is 9 years old we are connected to the family link app so that I am notified of any activity such as app downloads are on his laptop and I can control the number the amount of time that he spends on the laptop and I can see all of his activities. So far he has loaded all of his school laps which he was able to do on his own and he's been making great use of the Chromebook for the price. I don't think I could have gotten a better Chromebook. There are definitely some better Chromebooks out there and some cheaper Chromebooks, but this fit perfectly for what I wanted to pay and what I got out of it.

This is my first Chromebook purchase. I was happy with the screen size and the way the keyboard feels when you type I was impressed with the speed. It’s perfect for a work laptop. I was impressed with how long the battery lasts.

I was replacing an older model Chromebook and found this one on sale for Christmas. This one has a crystal clear picture. I love everything about this. I set it up in less than 5 minutes (and I'm a Granny!) The battery is long lasting and when my grandkids facetime me, it's just like they're right here. No lags, no interruptions, just clear video! It perfect for me to keep in touch with the family by something other than the telephone. I have security coverage to last a while,,,the AUE is 2031 ! If you're thinking about getting a fast, crystal clear laptop that's so easy a Granny can use it, run, don't walk to Best Buy and grab this !!

This is a decent laptop, lightweight and easy to use. Nice price also. Unfortunately, I will have to return it because I need a laptop that supports Microsoft windows Software. I didnt realize this is a Google only device

This laptop is perfect for notetaking, that being said, thats about it. It can do other things for sure but in my opinion it's held back by the chrome OS. Build quality was really solid, screen was bright, I never had any overheating issues while I owned it, but the laptop runs mobile versions of softwares like microsoft word & discord. Light gaming is VERY choppy. Storage space is the most abysmal part of this laptop, for its regular price you're better off with another laptop that runs windows OS that will come with more storage space. If you find it on sale, its perfect if all you want is to browse the web and take notes, maybe send the occasional e-mail. I wouldn't rely on it for more than that.

Snappy, well-placed keyboard for fast typing. C USB and A USB. 8 GB is perfect for multitasking. Plus, if you've ever participated in one of those FOMO releases of a limited item, that extra RAM is going to give you a tactical advantage. The Intel N200 CPU is built for energy efficiency. Fantastic for students. The CPU was released in January 2023 and works well with the UHD. This is my third Chromebook, and by far, my favorite one. Love the 15.6 screen. Solid for movie streaming. The End Date is 2033. So you have ample time with free protection and service updates from Goggle.

Purchased 2 of the HP Chromebook Laptop Computers. Grandson needed one for school and Grandma needed a new one. Two VERY satisfied customers. Serves both the young and the older perfectly. Easy to use and to adjust to from another Laptop. Perfect size also. Fits in his backpack; fits wherever I need it to. GREAT purchase.

I don’t have any issue with the screen display and no issue connecting to Microsoft account and store. It worked right out of the box! I just have to set up some things before the first use.The keyboard could have a backlit display for use at night time tho! The keyboard itself is a little bit confusing because it has so many buttons that are unnecessary, people don’t use that much of extra things that’s on this keyboard. The screen is bigger than I thought in a good way tho! I am happy with it. I don’t use this for business I just use it to study online classes and general browsing and YouTube. I don’t know if it will satisfy business users if they require more internal storage and more powerful ram, but for me I am satisfied with this laptop and it’s my first ever personal laptop I can only speak for my own experience. Everyone has their own preference! The only suggestion I have is to buy your laptop directly from Amazon not from marketplace sellers! If you need to customize your laptop specifications I suggest you buy from bestbuy and from the manufacturers. Happy shopping.

My new Chromebook laptop is awesome! It has a rapid start-up time and is lightweight. The screen is the perfect size with excellent lighting making it easy to view. I especially appreciate the signal when the battery is low making me aware of when I need to plug it in to the electrical outlet. Great purchase!!

Very good computer. The battery good lasting. Daughter uses it everyday and it has worked amazingly.

I'm happy overall with the function, performance, and price point. I learned a deficiency of Chromebooks in the process - that they are not friendly to VPNs. My biggest disappointment was the handling of my order: When I originally made the order, it was because you advertised that I could pick it up in an hour. When it was not available at that store, someone helped me redo the order. However, the person re-ordering it did not use the correct address which was on the order, but sent the laptop to an address I have not lived for 7 years, delivered Tuesday. I called again to fix the error, I was told that due to the errors, I would be given expedited shipping for which I would not be charged, and receive it the next day. Long story short, promised on Wednesday, was shipped on Friday, and received on Saturday - 5 days after I needed it. I see you've just reduced the price $50. How about crediting me that amount for my trouble and broken promises?

Nice screen with a full keyboard and numeric pad. It is fast, and the screen is crisp and clear. The price was amazing, and I know it will be used extensively.

Perfect IMO, although I don't have a need for software other than Google's free apps and the Web. I needed to Google for the solution to change one setting in Chrome to see mouse scroll bars, but I also realized from the FAQ that I should be using the mouse scroll wheel anyways. That's the only glitch and it was an easy fix and also user error on my end. As I'm old school and prefer a mouse over the trackpad. My profession is in IT and I wouldn't give it 5 stars if I found something wrong with it.

perfect!… for a chromebook. could have better speakers or back lit keyboard. maybe be a bit heavier. nonetheless ive dropped it a few times, got it wet, really just ran this thing through the mud & it works- still lol this is my fifth chromebook. overall my 2nd favorite & thats just because of the backlit keyboard. i love the full keyboard here with the number pad. love the big screen. picture quality is eh but say it with me “its a chrome book” you really get what you get with that. for me im rough on laptops & i love never having to store anything on the device itself - makes getting a new laptop a bit easier. THIS IS NOT A WORK LAPTOP. this is simply a pleasure or school laptop. even then online schools require windows. you can TECHNICALLY get linux on a chromebook & run similar programs to windows how ever chromebooks dont really offer the storage needed to not only download but run linex PLUS the programs you want to download then run. sure get an external hard drive BUT ITS A CHROME BOOK.

I purposely waited for a while before writing this review as people tend to write good ones right away and then have regrets after a while. I've had it about 6 - 8 weeks now and I haven't had any problems. Although it doesn't have the look or feel of a high end laptop, it is everything it's supposed to be. I got a refurbished one but mine came packaged well with no damage or signs of use. It responds as well as expected and doesn't seem to get stuck or freeze much. I don't think this machine is a powerhouse but then it doesn't claim to be. I wouldn't store important things on it without backing them up first but then again you really shouldn't do that with any computer. Overall I am happy with this purchase and I would definitely purchase the exact same one again (at the same price point). I paid a little more than $200 bucks for it and it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm giving it 5 stars not because it's a perfect computer but because it's exactly what you would expect from a $200 laptop given it's specs. Very happy with it.
