This chromebook was everything I was looking for. Got it for my 15 year old for Christmas, price was great and she was able to set it up herself no issues. Light enough to carry with her, but big enough to do all teh games and homework. very happy with this purchase!

Chromebooks work very well and perform better than expected. These chromebooks are used daily with high wear.

I am really disappointed that the screen clarity and resolution is so bad. The text is just very slightly blurred ALL THE TIME. The colors are also not as vibrant or sharp as they should be--things are dulled slightly. I bought a $50 ignok portable monitor because I need a dual monitor, and it has a better screen quality than this does. The ability to adjust settings is also very limited. You can't even adjust when screensavers come on. This plays into the resolution issues as well. You can only enlarge or shrink the display text or size; it is just a glorified zoom and doesn't do anything for the resolution. Unfortunately, there is also a docking mode that you can't turn off either. If you close your lid while using a dual monitor, it will stay on. You can't alter it at all. If you want to be able to customize your laptop, don't buy this. Additionally, there are a few design features that I am not thrilled about. The first is that there is only one USB and and two C ports on the computer. A bit more would have been nice, but it is not a deal breaker for me. Also, the screen does not tilt back further than about 100 degrees. If you have something that boosts/tilts your computer, then it might not adjust to the correct angle. Also, there is conflicting information about if the keys are backlit, and the answer is no, they are not. There is also a random issue where it won't load websites and they will just appear mostly blank. I have only had this computer a few days and I've been irritated every day. I threw the stupid box away or I would try to return it. I wouldn't purchase it again, if nothing else because of the abyssal display.

don't get me wrong, i love my chromebook, l am not a typist and the letters in white on the gray tile is very hard to see. i would have given 5 stars if it was not for that. otherwise the big screen is great, the color on the screen is great and i enjoy playing my games on it,.

The laptop purchase is awesome. I love colour performance and it is conventient to use. I bought it for my son and he like very much.

It's an awesome laptop!! Couldn't beat the price! When i bought it I didn't know it had a charging port on both sides which was great. I was just a little upset to find out for some reason the charging point on the left side doesn't work and i had only had it for about 10 days. Other than that i love it!!!!!!

The HP 15.6 Chromebook is everything we have needed and wanted for our duties in the school district, it is working great and fulfilling our needs to further our education for the students and staff. We will be ordering more in the future.

Fast due to 8 GB RAM. Nice, after some choked-off Windows laptops, even newer ones. Chromebooks seem a good alternative. One complaint, HP should use sharper contrast on keys. We purchased two HP laptops recently, same complaint for both. Also, add one USB port to this model. All in all, good choice.

Nice sized laptop, comfortable keyboard and good size screen... co-owrker loves it so far!

Overall pretty decent. I'm a light user and use it for limited functions. No complaints.
