Although I bought this for light programming, but this model doesn't allow to download and install custom Apps (or to access underlying Linux environment), hence I returned it and bought a windows laptop (i3) which was $50 more but provided much more flexibility.

HP Chrome laptop works great!

Even though it's Chrome, I was able to get a Microsoft account and basic office apps, it is working great!

Chromebook vs Laptop Computer

That strip is difficult to access. The Chromebook is taking some getting used to after always having a laptop computer.

Great Laptop!

Would definitely recommend this for someone who needs a durable laptop for writing or just browsing the internet. Not a lot of power for much else, but It's great for general tasks.
