It ran kind of slow for being a new computer and trying to switch from a touchscreen to a non touchscreen it just couldn't keep up with what I needed from it.

I thought we were moving up from our 3 year old laptop in terms of speed . This definitely did not meet expectations. If anything it is slower.

This product is just very slow. I don't use it much, mostly to read news...ESPN, MSN, Fox Sports, etc... This takes quite sometime for it to load a page, it even takes time for it to close a page. I've only had it about a week and I'm pretty frustrated. My $50 LG phone runs circles around this. I must have got a bad one because it had great reviews and as I said I really just use it for news and a few emails, I certainly wouldn't think doing that would even tax this.

This is slower than my 4 year old laptop, which is surprising as that was not a high end item either. If I didn't mostly use my iPad I would return this

This laptop you get what you pay for but if you plan on working or doing anything other than surfing the web; plan upgrading the memory.

This computer lags and not quick at all but for the price it can get some jobs done. Don't try to watch netflix and edit in Lightroom at the same time.

Not Happy with computer everytime I turn it on it takes forever to load, always wanting to update that's takes away of room for my stuff

Big, heavy and clunky, particularly the keyboard. Wife can hear me clunking away on the cheap plastic keyboard and scroll pad from the other room.

Battery dies extremely fast . It would have a full battery then 30 minutes later the battery needs a charge.

Unfortunately this laptop died a month after buying it. We brought it to Geek Squad and they made us pay 100 dollars just to tell us it couldn't be fixed. 4 weeks in to owning this, that shouldn't happen. Best Buy did give us another but it runs slower than the first computer. I also think it's ridiculous to have to pay 100 to be told they can't fix it, especially when the computer was only 300 to begin with. Very unsatisfied, would not recommend.

My 11 year old got this, and after just 5 weeks the keyboard went out and was told there was nothing that could be done. Very disappointing.

I find this computer to be very slow on starting up and once it is up and running it is still very slow. I am told this is due to the window 10.

I purchased this computer for my son for Christmas and it hasn't worked properly since I bought it! I'm aggravated and tired of spending HOURS talking to customer service.

I needed this as a document maker and web searching... I am finding that it freezes on me almost everytime I use it and wastes tons of time.

This computer is terrible. Right out of the box, after updating 100%, it froze on every website I visited including Facebook, MSN, CNN and even while google searching. Don't waste your money!

The computer is much slower than what I expected. It takes a ling time just to open word, excel, or even the simplest the clock application.

It's slow, doesn't hold a charge and the keyboard is awkward. I'll say it again, I hate my computer.

I purchased this laptop for my teenaged son as a Christmas gift! On 1/28/17, my son turned it on to go online for something and the screen was pitch black and the fan was going. I advised my son to turn it off and back on and it continued to do the same thing. I contacted HP in which they advised that they will have someone pick up the laptop and repair it. What a huge mistake I made, I guess you get what you pay for !!!!

As a low end laptop, it's fine in general. I needed it for a few simple apps. But the WiFi performance is so bad, it's unusable. I had to add an external WiFi dongle as a second network, which works fine. And it's in the same location as previous laptops, which worked fine. So distance from the router should not be an issue.

The antivirus stopped and constantly has to be restarted and sometimes takes up to 45 minutes to restart. That means Im off line....
