Functional, with good performance and a great deal

Nice touch screen and really useful for my school.

As a teacher this laptop suits my needs perfectly.

When I went into the store to purchase a laptop, the manager of the electronics department that this was the best laptop for the money (for our small business). Couldn't agree more. Very happy with it.

Well the laptop itself is perfect for what I needed it for, can't say the same for the experience i received in the store. I had a budget in mind with certain specs and the salesperson told me that i didn't want this laptop because it wasn't good. I told her i was only using it for one thing and she just didnt listen!

Bought this to replace my wife's old laptop that she uses for her crafts. Typical HP laptop with no frills, will hopefully be a dependable workhorse.

I was very pleased with the laptop, I have had different versions in the past and have loved every bit of them. The only reason it did not reach 5 stars was because the keyboard does not light up!!

Overall, the computer does a great job. The only downfall of this computer is that it will lose connection to the wifi every once in awhile. I like the computer, but that gets annoying.

Many helpful features, priced right, touchpad takes more pressure than expected, by easily acquired. Highly competent laptop and a fine value.

Really good computer, would have given 5 stars if I had a better grasp of how to navigate Windows 10 better. I am used to the Apple system, but am still very pleased with my purchase.

I love HP, but absolutely abhor Windows 10. Now I know why the Windows 10 laptop was cheaper than Win 7 or 8 - NOT USER FRIENDLY. I bought this laptop because I was going back to school. I should have returned it while I had the chance. HP still produces a quality product, that's the 2 stars because HP is quality Win 10 gets ZERO stars. Win10 is going to make me switch to Apple, that is how much it sucks

Bought it for my Dad's 58th birthday since his old laptop needs a replacement :) ... Heard a lot of compliments from him everytime he use his new Hp laptop, he really loves it...

I get blocks of black over text on mu screen when I start computer and when I leave it on a screen too long. You have to tap on it for black block to disappear over text. Weird.

My previous computer was HP so I was already familiar with this type of computer . I did consider other computers and came back to this one . I thought it was a great buy .

Full keyboard, DVD, headphone jack, usb ports, touch screen, card reader, web cam, i5 processor, 8GB memory and 1 TB hard drive . Great size at 15.6" and I love it all!

Got it for good price. Would have loved some student discount on it. Also some accessories accompanied would have been great

Up to now, 2 month after buy it, everything goes right. Not too fast but ok for the price that I paid. Good but not excellent quality and definition of the monitor

Laptop will no longer power on after 6 months. Contacted HP since it's still under warranty and getting the run around because I purchased it with BestBuy. Even though it was an online purchases and the closest store is 3 hours away, HP wanted BestBuy to make the repair. A supervisor finally approved for HP to do the repair. I was supposed to receive a confirmation email within 24 hours and a shipping box within 2 days. I have not received either. I will once again contact HP to see what I am supposed to do, but I am not happy with a. the product no longer turning on within 6 months of average use and b. the customer service to try and get this repaired. In the mean time, I have a laptop that won't work.

I needed a dependable low priced laptop to replace my old one. Whle it's not top of the line, it suites my needs, and even had some options I wasn't expecting.
