    I gave 10S OS a chance but switched it to Windows 10 home after about a month. There were just too many obstacles with other purchased software and not being able to use Chrome. I haven't found any difference in speed after switching. It still boots up pretty fast. A little disappointed in the microphone quality but then again this wasn't a very expensive laptop. It serves the purpose.

    This is a very decent laptop if you can get it on sale. Screen is pleasant to look at and speakers are a lot better than expected. It might be the best sounding laptop speakers I have experienced for this price point. You might want to disable S mode and then reinstall windows. That get rid of HP non-essential (IMO) softwares and windows will feel lighter and more responsive.
