Love it easy setting up and setting u your accounts fast uploads and lots of space for files

It’s decent, I bought it for sims gameplay and it’s very glitchy with MOD and CC download. But for work it’s standard ! When playing I keep the charger plugged in other wise the batter life is decent too. Could possibly get away with no charging for like a day maybe a day and a half doing basic work tasks. It’s fast like I said outside of game play, and the display is also standard.

Just needed a simple laptop for home schooling and this is perfect for it and good price on sale.

i have been using this joy for a long time everyday. i run each aspect of my company and a game or two in between. its not a gaming pc but to past time you can make it work

Really looks as if this was an open-box laptop, when I ordered new. With letters nearly worn off a couple of keys, (Ctl, A, S, C...). Battery drops from 100% to 0% surprisingly quickly while browsing with Firefox and literally nothing else running at all. Laptop operates more slowly than any laptop I've ever owned including a 2010 Lenovo Thinkpad that had a ~1.7GHz Intel core i3 and 2GB of cheap DDR2 (running Windows 7, which I upgraded to Windows 10, and still ran for years better than this runs out of the box). Also came jam packed with every piece of "free" bloatware I meticulously unselected from the list when purchasing because I didn't want it installed or at least didn't want to have to uninstall it all myself. At least the display is okay... nothing special, but no dead pixels or clear signs of use. Attached photo of home keys, this is not what new keys look like out of the box on a new laptop, I have barely used this thing, and I wash my hands frequently and meticulously (I didn't make them look this way, I received it looking like this). The world is all messed up these days and I'm busy dealing with that. I wasn't going to review the laptop at all, just take the loss and move on... but you convinced me with the $400 gift card entry.

Did store pickup, worked fine. After 2 weeks came home to a black screen and could not boot up . Hardly used it and put nothing on it. After trouble shooting with HP and best buy it still would not work. Lap top is under a warrenty but still best buy was charging 200$ to fix it and leave it with them for 4 days . I grabbed the laptop specifically for a training course im not at and im on the other side if the country so hands are tied. Just upset brand new laptop at that price stopped working so soon and the warrenty was no help and best buy charged 200$ to fix a laptop they sold me weeks prior . To send it back to hp would have been a month or two without it . Just a frustrating situation and feel like best buy is doing me dirty

It's a good laptop,however, the print on the keyboard is white against a fairly light grey keyboard makes it poorly too see the letters, numbers, etc.

Good purchase on a budget and graphics are clear. Easy to get work done.

Could not find the power button wish it was touch screen

Wanted to love this computer, but after two months it showed a “no hard drive found” error. HP is fixing it under warranty, but the drive was fried and we lost all our data since it hadn’t synced. Hard to trust it now, especially after seeing others report the same issue.

I purchased this as an affordable replacement for my mother as her old laptop couldn't support Windows 11 and was getting slow after about a decade of service. I'm typically not a huge HP fan, but this was on sale and in stock. All she uses it for is basic web browsing, email, and the occasional video streaming. For that, it works OK. If you have multiple programs or tabs open it does get a bit laggy. It can stream YouTube at 1080P smoothly, as long as you aren't doing anything else. If you have something else running in the background, you have to drop YouTube videos down to 720P or below or it will drop frames. Build quality for a low priced consumer grade laptop is OK. The battery life is good. I like that it uses a barrel connector/DC jack for charging, as those seem to hold up better and last longer than laptops that can only charge via USB-C. The cooling system seems decent. Even under load, the fan is barely audible, and the computer never gets hot to the touch. The only thing we wish it had was a backlit keyboard. I would have been OK with a $10 price increase to cover a feature that probably costs $1 or less to implement. The 512GB SSD is plenty spacious for the price. However, I believe the RAM on this laptop is soldered and can't be upgraded, so too bad if you want to upgrade it to 16GB down the road, which we probably would have done in a few years. In terms of bloatware, it does have some garbage on there from HP. No matter how often I remove the "Dropbox Promotion" it comes back. If I had more time I'd do a clean install of Windows, but for now, it is what it is. Oh, and they included "Omen Gaming Hub". What a joke, the only game you're running on here is maybe solitaire. At the end of the day, this is cheap basic laptop. As long as it lasts at least 5 years of basic usage, I will be happy.

Great laptop. The display is so clear and bright. I love it immensely the battery life is great but it I expected it to last a little longer. this bit 17+ screen is the best I would recommend this laptop for everyone. The speed is incredible. I just may have to buy another one.

I recently bought an HP laptop and honestly, I love it. It’s fast, reliable, and handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far without slowing down. The screen looks great, the keyboard feels good to type on, and the battery life easily gets me through a full day. For the price, I think it’s a great deal — definitely happy with the purchase.

I have had this laptop for about a month now. It is fantastic. Great speed and clarity, and the huge screen I have been dreaming of for a while. I don't do any gaming - so cannot comment on that. I have not experienced any issues with this computer,

This is my 5th HP laptop. I am retired and use it for the internet, shopping, finances and email. Just perfect for my needs. Large very clear display. As fast as I would ever need. I have found HP computers to be totally reliable. I have never had one quit on me. I just buy one occasionally to update to a little newer tech. This one is as reliable as the others I have owned. Quick setup without a lot of garbage software. Reasonable battery life. About 7 hours is average for my use. None that I have owned were equipped with ultra long-life batteries. That is OK with me. I will take the reliability over long battery life.

Great la[top. Got this for my cousin who is now going to college. Perfect balance for both gaming and work. AMD chipset can handle a lot of multitasking. Great battery life especially for a 17inch screen. Lots of storage. The laptop is surprisingly not heavy. Great deal for great laptop.
