We needed to replace a tabletop computer. This laptop has made the transfer from Publisher to other programs quite easy.

I purchased this product on 9/18/2025. 5 weeks later (10/23/25) the most used keys "A,S,E,F,T,I,etc" are unreadable. Yesterday I stopped at the Best Buy it was purchased at and was told to contact HP. Today I contacted HP and they told me Best Buy is responsible. I made a 68 mile trip back to the store and they said "sorry, but we can't help you. this is HP's responsibility". I now have a $900 5 week old laptop that needs to have stickers put on the keyboard to make it usable. Needless to say but this is my last purchase of an HP product and I will be very leery of buying anything expensive at Best Buy. I have attached a photo of the keyboard if anyone from HP or Best Buy wants to see the problem.

Great laptop for working from home with a VM, but after only two months, the writing on the keyboard keys faded.

The text on the keyboard keys is already fading after only a month of light usage. It is obvious that eventually the keyboard will be unreadable. It is quite surprising that HP would even sell a product of such poor quality.

Big screen, very easy to use. Lite weight. Just a all around great computer.

Really enjoying the laptop. Large screen, simple and clean design, keyboard has a nice feel to it. Working smoothly. Great battery life. One thing I didn't realize is it isn't touchscreen. Not such a big deal for me, but worth noting.

I've had the laptop for 3 weeks now. Lots of pluses and minuses, Plus: fast, the screen is crisp, and the price with holiday sale was $350 off. Minus: No Ethernet port, older generation RAM, power button and cortana button now takes space on the keyboard, but most of all, and the reason for the review rating - the keyboard lettering has ALREADY started to wear off! The A, S, C, period, comma, backspace, shift, and ctrl btns are already noticeably worn, and I expect within a month or two will be totally worn off. I'm already having to look at paint pens or stickers (REALLY?!?). For a brand new laptop, this is totally unacceptable. And, this experience has significantly colored my option of Best Buy in general. Why would they sell a set of laptops with this known problem, and, how long has the return policy on defective laptops been 14 DAYS?!? I now have to return this to HP?? After I've owned it for 3 weeks?? Geek Squad gave me the lowdown on this problem - those guys are great, but corporate and sales management sucks. The computer is fast, and has oodles of storage (solid-state). I miss the fingerprint reader I had on my previous laptop, and not having a built-in Ethernet port is a definite negative (I purchased an Ethernet-to-USB adapter to overcome that). When I first powered up the computer, I had to search for the power button - it's somewhat hidden, in the top row of keys. I would have preferred a built-in CD/DVD drive, but laptops generally don't have those anymore - so I purchased an external CD/DVD drive for the few occasions when I need one.

HP laptop is sleek, fast, and easy to use. It is reliable and includes a lot of storage.

For my needs, this laptop is excellent. I paired it with a 32" Curved monitor and a 27" curved monitor for the ultimate setup. I love the fact that it is quick and has a decent hard drive space. The 16GB of Ram is also nice. Looks nice, and works wonderfully.

I bought it for my dad he's an accountant, this is a powerhouse desktop-replacement laptop—huge, fast screen, tons of storage and memory, perfect for getting serious work done without ever slowing down.

Excellent computer. It’s easy to use and is light weight. It’s fast and the screen is perfect. The monitor is made very well.

We needed a replacement for our family computer and this gets the job done. It’s fast, has a nice display, and a numeric key pad. We do not game and have not watched movies from it as we mainly use it for paying bills, printing documents, etc. It’s quiet too having no loud fan noise.

i buy hp latop in best buy is very nice, easy to carry to travel ,battery life and processor speed is nice .i recomend to buy everone this laptop.
