Let me preface this by saying that I really do like this laptop. This is my second HP laptop that I bought from Best Buy. I got the first one back in 2017. Other than the battery going bad, it was great. I replaced it because Windows 10 was no longer supported and Turbo Tax no longer works with Windows 10. Hence, the need to replace my very old laptop. Now for my experience. When I first powered on my new laptop, I smelled definite electronics, overheating smell. I put my hand on the area over by the power button and it felt warm to me. My kitchen, where I was working on my new laptop had that smell of electronic overheating. So, I packed up my new laptop and returned it to Best Buy. No problems, no hassles. I got a new one and brought it home. I plugged in the new one and pretty much experienced the same thing. That overheating smell. I stuck with this new laptop and let it ride, to see what happens. After about a week of use, the smell went away. Not sure what was going on, with that smell, but I have had zero issues with my new laptop and my taxes were filed on time.

Fast computer. It works my photo program well. Does what I need. It is not light, it is heavier than other computers. It is larger and the silver outside is rough surface. It is a 5 star in my opinion.

I hold on to items for eh vah. So after 13 years I needed a new laptop. I have to have a number pad, prefer lighter laptops and a wider screen. This checks all of the boxes. This is a household laptop that I use for bill paying, online learning and some content creation. I'm happy.

Lightweight and the larger screensize is helpful when working alongside other people needing to view my screen

Excellent computer, would it be outstanding if it had keyboard illumination. other than that, is excellent

Took a while to get used to versus 2013 Dell Desktop, but I'm well satisfied with this laptop. It is lighting fast and a great update all the way around. Large screen size is a great help.

Great machine. Love it. User friendly. and lots of battery life. Must tell wife to keep hands off and use her own outdated equipment.

Finally the H.P. 17 inch laptop that I wanted was on sell. Large beautiful screen for photo editing and easy email reading.

I’m Happy with the product. Im not happy that I needed to contact the store and it was impossible to get through the AI system. That is enough for me not to go back to Best Buy. One cannot even call the store for any reason.

This is a nice HP Laptop. It provides me with all the functionality and storage to meet my financial record storing needs and personal needs as well as lots of downloads. It is fast when accessing the internet and the picture clarity is amazing. The video card allows for fast motion movies and videos without glitches and rebooting in the middle of viewing. I am satisfied with this laptop.

Had it for 2 months and is working excellent so far. Use it mainly at my desk at home. Love the larger size. Haven't traveled with it yet, but have have a travel bag ready when I do.

It's a good PC for office work, light database, spreadsheet and coding. I am happy overall with the performance for price, and the big screen is a plus! At this price though...a lighted keyboard should be included.

I'm a fan of HP computers. This is my 4th laptop and each time the computer get better and better. I love the graphics and the speed of the computer is excellent. The battery life is also better with my Core i7 than my Core i5. Just a great product.

HP laptops are the best tool in my opinion. The ease and speed makes my work so much more efficient. It easily syncs with everything I need to get my job done!

It is exactly what I wanted and works well, after completing transition of software and other accounts. Excellent for viewing 2 documents simultaneously.
