This laptop hits all the requirements for me, basically. My son wanted to play a lot of Minecraft, and it holds up well with that. My only complaint is that the main body case is made of a plastic that feels really cheap. Also, this screen is really large. You may think you want as large a screen as possible, but if you're going to be travelling or taking this to work/school a lot, consider a smaller laptop. It's great for watching movies and playing games on because of the large screen, but it really is quite large to put into a bag.

I use a laptop every day with my accounting business. This is very easy to setup and use. This is very fast opening programs, internet sites and documents. The large screen is very helpful.

I bought this laptop for my wife. With everyone home and using a machine of some sort, my wife needed something to do her work on. We have been looking off and on for about 6 months and with the value of this unit we pulled the trigger. She loves the big screen.

Easy to set up and go! The 17 inch screen is great for the aging eyes. Start up speed and responsiveness is very good. Just what I needed to replace the older, slower laptop!

Easy to setup. The screen is 17" which is ideal for someone looking for TV viewing. I watch football and baseball on this computer with no problem. For the price you can't beat it.

One of the reasons I bought this computer was that it was one of the few computers that still has a CD/DVD drive. I like the 17 inch screen, but am not crazy about how the Windows 10 operating system basically forces you to use all the microsoft applications such as the microsoft edge browser. Also the keyboard is not backlit, which I knew when I bought it. But, I really miss my backlit keyboard at night when I'm working on my computer.

I bought this product into Geek Squad. They took a look at it. They sent it out that Hair is fixing. Everything was great when we got back it works like now.

Exceptional laptop for the price! Screen size and quality is great. The only thing missing is backlit keys, other than that this laptop offers great speed, and functionality.

Quick and useful for internet, email, and general browsing. I love the large screen for watching YouTube and TV. I haven't had any problems and would recommend for what I use it for.

bought this laptop for a work-at-home job. It runs fast and is very efficient. Wish it had a backlit keyboard, but other than that, it has all the features I needed and wanted.

I got this HP Laptop to replace a 17"HP Laptop that died. This one is so much faster and easier to use. It's very light weight so it is comfortable to use on my lap.

Needed to purchase a new computer to replace my wife's outdated unit. This one is faster, has more memory, a bigger screen and a ten key on the keyboard. Absolutely perfect!

The screen is big and has great resolution. Although it is large, it is light. Good sound system with speakers on the top so the sound isn't muffled. Takes dvds as well!

This laptop was a gift for the wife. The last HP was a 15". The screen was going out so time for an upgrade. She had no problem getting it setup, she loves it.

Worth the money. I have owned 10 laptops over the last,25 years. This one was flip pen the top and start working, no fuss

Getting used to a new laptop with newest technology difficult but things seem to be working okay. I do like the speed of the HP, and the larger screen size great!!

The screen is what sets this laptop apart! I would say everything is great expect the keyboard. The keys can be a bit sticky, but overall it was a great purchase.

I dont know alot about computers but this one seems to be good. It is easy to set up, and fast. I dont think I like the S mode though. Might have to disable it.

I like the larger screen as I am working from home w/students and I was supplied a much smaller screen which I could barely see. I have had no problems to date. I am just hoping this HP mechanically holds up as my other one, the back became loose and then cracked the the back one week short of the computer being a year old. HP said they wouldn't say if they would or wouldn't cover it but I had to pay shipping first ($80). Never dropped, sits on a table. This time I'm not closing the cover. Technically very sound. No problems. Just wish they backed the rest of it.
