The monitor is fantastic - with the DVI-D input, it allowed me to hook 2 monitors up to my computer. The color is fantastic, and great for gaming, viewing photos or watching movies. The downside is the included speakers, while conveinient, aren't the best speakers that could be found. The sound was tinny and not very good. If you have an existing speaker setup stick with it.

I bought this monitor for my parents. They love it. I setup the monitor for them. Setup was easy, no drivers needed for XP, it's automatic. The monitor is sharp and clear, the color is exceptional. I found the only drawback was the range of movement, (tilting the screen forward or back) was a little limited. The price was fair, I would certainly buy this monitor again.

Purchased this monitor about a year and a half ago. First the DVI port went bad (kept going into sleep mode spontaneously). I took it to Best Buys and they tested it. I purchased a DVI to VGA cable and used the other port. A couple of months later that port went in the same way. I called HP and they gave me rasberries because it's out of warranty. They said I could spend $40.00 on 1 service call or $99.00 to extend the warranty. Now I have a 17" paper-weight. I replaced this monitor with my old AMW 22" Flat Tube monitor and it works just fine.
