Good monitor for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a monitor to use at work with my laptop (since the screen on the laptop is somewhat small). It's nothing fancy, but since I'm just looking at data, that's fine for me. Only issue was that the monitor comes with DVI and VGA hookups (though only a VGA cord-no DVI cord is included) which my laptop doesn't have-just had to buy a VGA to HDMI converter cord so that I could hook it up to my laptop.

LARGE SCREEN MONITOR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Monitor is much larger than we need for the top of a computer desk but it was all that was left on the store shelf in our price range. Since it is stationary 24/7 it sits right next to the compact tower - if both had been large we couldn't have set them up side-by-side on our old office computer desk/hutch combo. Sometimes bigger is not better but we made it work.

Great HP Screen

So with a new monitor, we brought it home and plugged it in to the newer hard drive we had bought previously and it worked like a charm...Very nice HP Monitor. I would highly recommend..

My monitor works.

I was disappointed to learn, after it was installed, that it did not. But a friend bought me some $20. speakers at Best Buy, so now I do have sound. The monitor works well with the added speakers.
