I needed some monitors for new employees and these fit the bill nicely, DVI + VGA, "good enough" resolution, and VESA mountable. No complaints yet, hopefully they are as long lasting as many of our other HP monitors.

The reason why I bought this HP monitor was because the old monitor I have currently has a big tube on the back. When I read the reviews of this item and was on sale, I thought this was the right monitor for me and for a reasonable price. There is a flaw with this monitor though. The color gets distorted and have to press the reset button when I start up the monitor. It also goes blank after two minutes of use so I am fairly satisfied with the item; however, I may have to go back to the old monitor with the tube since that one works better than this item.

This monitor is fine for general use. It could be a little brighter, but does well in a sun-filled room. I would recommend it for anyone on a budget.

Can't really beat the price of 74. 99 and what I like the best about it is that it is rectangle and not square so my entire screen fits nicely, I use it for work. Resolution isn't the greatest. But you get what you pay for. It serves its purpose for me.

i got my wife a new monitor great price great picture and bigger screen than old monitor.

Display is very good. Only thing keeping it from receiving a 5 is the fact that it does not have speakers. My fault for not checking. You will need external speakers if you want sound.

Good basic monitor, but needs adapter to connect to gaming computers

i bought this monitor a few months back, great price for the size and fit perfectly in my space. the only draw back I had was the brightness of it, I have light sensitive eyes, the settings would not fix this, although I have gotten used to it, it took a bit.

I needed a low cost monitor to use for a computer in the office that I have setup as a server for other computers to connect to. This monitor fit that bill perfectly!

Purchased this for my 91 year old mother. She loves it. Big enough to see everything, but not so big she has to fight the mouse across the screen. Great clarity and resolution.

Good monitor, but I wish it came with DVI-D cable as HP computers now don't always come with VGA connections.

You have to be looking at this thing dead center or else the colors go all wacky. Not to mention the permanent washed out look. Adjusting the settings does nothing to fix the problem. Avoid this monitor. It's worth it to spend a little bit more for real quality. Needless to say, I returned it and purchased an HP Pavilion 22cw. Much happier.
